Scream VI (2023)
So good!
Scream 6 is easily one of the best in the franchise so far. We get to see the most brutal ghostface yet and it did not disappoint.
Ive never felt scared of ghost face however scream 6 has changed that up and brought a new evil that makes you feel uneasy in some moments.
It Could possibly be the biggest kill count in the franchise as well. The kills are unique and brutal. Ghostface is a killing machine and doesn't play around.
Did it suck that neve wasn't apart of it? Yeah sure. But this movie has proved that it doesn't need her to make a good slasher film. She will always be the final girl but it's time to move on from her story and open up a new chapter with a fresh new cast. Which has been done fantastically.
We Interrupt This Broadcast (2023)
Flop
Ok so I saw the trailer for this show multiple times before it aired and thought it looked hilarious. The time comes and i chuck the first episode on only to find that the humour is as dry as the Sahara desert. I've seen a few high reviews on here and it's surprised me because the humour is terrible and doesn't hit the mark. It seems like they showed all the funny stuff in the trailers. Does it get better? Idk I didn't even finish the first episode. Quite disappointing actually considering I was looking forward to a new comedy show to give me a good laugh and this did not show up. NEXT!!!!!!!!
Jeepers Creepers: Reborn (2022)
What did I just watch..
Whatever you do, do not waste your money on this low budget, terrible acting, poor script movie. This film was a train wreck the minute it started. I couldn't even begin to list everything wrong with it or this review would turn into a novel. Multiple people walked out within the first 20 minutes. Than a few more followed. Why did I stay you ask?! Because I really wanted to give it a chance. It was so terrible I had to see if it could get any worse and it unfortunately did.
The acting was embarrassingly bad. The director has completely butchered the creeper we all know and love. I definitely do not recommend this movie at ALL. Stay as far away as you possibly can. Listen to the reviews people!!
The Black Phone (2021)
Best movie of 2022 so far.
I went to the theatre tonight to see this with my partner. After reading all the reviews I was hesitant at first but I'm glad I put them aside and allowed my own judgement. Im glad I did because I actually enjoyed it. I can see myself watching this again when it comes to streaming platforms.
The Batman (2022)
Incredible!
One word. AMAZING. I loved every minute of it from start to finish. Thrilling, fearful, dark, intense and stunning performances by every cast member. This is everything previous Batman portrayers lacked. I will definitely be buying this once it hits the shelves!
10/10 recommend.
He's All That (2021)
Not bad but not great
Now days everything revolves around social media and how careers are started. It makes sense they decided to go this route because it'll attract younger viewers just like the original did.
The acting could have been better. Some scenes felt very "Cheap" so I sat there wondering what their budget was for this movie. I do encourage people to give it a go. It's got some funny scenes and I do think it could have been way worse!
To All the Boys: Always and Forever (2021)
I liked it!
I have not read the books before. But I enjoyed all 3. They tell a Great love story that starts and ends very maturely & shows the younger viewers to put yourself first and follow your dreams.
Review for this movie more importantly.. What a heartfelt ending. I almost want more! But it was time to wrap things up and let them see what the future has in store for them. Always and forever, Lara Jean & Peter Kavinsky
Open Water (2003)
What in gods name..
This has to be one of the worst shark movies I've seen. And I never thought anything would top Sharknado. The acting is ridiculous. Did they forget to talk? They don't even try to swim to the boats. They just sit there and wait it out as if they knew help was on the way. I really don't get it.
The only thing I enjoyed about the movie was the concept. It differs from most shark movies I've seen. I just wish the acting and cinematography was better. It looked like it was filmed on a cheap tiny camera you can buy from your local electronics store 😂
The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020)
Get better.
This show deserves a chance. It's got Great character development, a good storyline and great acting. I'm 5 episodes in and it's only getting better every episode.
Cursed (2020)
AWESOME!!
I quite like this show. Don't listen to the bad reviews. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the show is based off of a book(s). To which I have not read. So I went in with an open mind and I suggest doing the same. To all those who gave this show the lowest rating possible just can't enjoy the show for what it is. I really hope it gets a second season!!
The Dead Don't Die (2019)
The dead need to die!
So disappointed. I found it hard to follow along. It's so slow I got bored
Élite (2018)
Amazing
Really love the show I just wish it was spoken in English. I feel it would be 10x more popular!
I Am Not Okay with This (2020)
I loved it.
WOW. That was better than I expected. It leaves you wanting more after the last episode.
All the Bright Places (2020)
I liked it
A very touching film that brings light to those who struggle with mental illness. The acting was the best it could have been. Great cast and great chemistry between the characters
A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish (2019)
Good but bad
I quite enjoyed the story line. The auto tune is horrible though. Almost makes it unwatchable :/
Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019)
Wow did not expect that
Omg what a surprise that was. I did not expect me (a 20 year old) to like it as much as I did. Great family movie! Especially for those who grew up watching the cartoon Dora the explorer.
47 Meters Down: Uncaged (2019)
AWESOME!!
Best shark movie I've seen in years. Better than the 1st 47 metres down. The jump scares are well placed through out the movie. Definitely Recommend seeing this one! :D
Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists (2019)
Interesting
I didn't mind this series at all. It gave me something to watch after PLL finished and I wasn't hating it tbh.
I'm sad that season 2 has been cancelled by CW.. but maybe it can be picked up by someone new.. nonetheless I would recommend if you love your typical high school drama shows
Tales of the City (2019)
AMAZING
I loved every single episode of this show. It wasn't until after I finished it that I realised this is basically a reboot?! I loved the scenery and cinematography. It gives out a very strong message to those apart of the lgbt community
