A Series of Unfortunate Events (2017)
I really want to like this show, but its repetitiveness is a bit too much
I want to like this show. I really do. And I know you want to have this show close to the books, but my god if I have to see another episode where no one can tell who the bloody hell Count Olaf is I am seriously going to have a stroke. This show is not for people with high anxiety and just can't deal with shows playing off on your disbelief. Each episode is basically the same. The kids are great, but I can't keep watching the show like this. I just can't take it.
Army of Darkness (1992)
"Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun."
It comes on rarely on TV, preferably sci-fi channel, (but whats sci-fi about it? Its more fantasy than sci-fi with a bit of horror) but no matter how defined genre wise, this still makes one of Director's Sam Raimi's holy grail into movie making. Its a great classic movie with some of his past elements gets generated into a comedic fantasy movie which is as i said a classic as Bruce Campbell comes back as the bad ass Ash as he gets accidentally sucked back in time with his gun, chainsaw for a hand, his car. He gets transported to the dark ages and has to find his way back to his own time by finding the Necronomicon, but then unleashes the Army of Darkness.
Wont reveal too much more, but its a very well enjoyable movie and is a classic in my book.
X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)
Movies awesome, first
The first thing I'd like to say is, in order to understand the movie, you have to have no hype whatsoever. Be and X-men fan, and just enjoy it for what it is. I will explain the movie with no spoilers. So, don't worry people who haven't seen this movie yet.
The movie starts off differently, to explain a meaning, very different from the other two. Then the title shows up, which is pretty cool, yet, The Last Stand it is not.
The movie has a decent plot. It goes smoothly, then veers off a little, then gets back on track. The plot is indeed in the comics, most of it. One thing we have yet to see is Gambit. No gambit. No spoiler, just going to tell ya. So as it ends, it gets pretty intense and cool. Before you know it, it ends......or does it?
After the credits magic happens. If you catch one very important movie, and a Comic book fan, this 30 sec clip after the movie will be a twist. A very big one. No spoiler, just telling ya to see this before you leave. This is vital to see because this will uplift you, astound even. I believe the movie was good, but if you don't like it thats because you don't understand it, haven't seen the last part (you will be very confused and mad if you don't see this, so please see it.), and if you did, and still don't understand it ask me or someone who does understand it. Well thats it, and don't forget the last scene after the credits...please!
