Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Best, most action filled, funniest Marvel movie so far.
I had great expectations for this movie, and it delivered plus more. Its 2.5 hour with action, humor, interesting dialog and all your favorite marvel characters. Ok, some very few are missing, but all the big "players" are involved. By far the best superhero movie of all time. Delivers on so many levels. The new thing about Marvel movies is that they have put in a lot of humor in it. Like the last Thor movie and Guardians movies. Avangers IW are kind of like that but the punchlines makes you crack out laughing. Feel like this is a mix of everything that is good about all the individual films.
2.5 hour was not enough. I want more.
Death Note (2017)
Why?
"Why?" is the biggest question for this movie. Why keep the plot about a smart schoolboy? Why have a deathgod thats exactly the same as in the Anime? About 15mins inn I already hated this movie. They have kept the universe. The school, the characters names....but thats all. The personality of the main character is so changed its not recognizable. The way he discovered the notebook was suppose to be random. The way he discovered that he could decide how people is gonna die was suppose to be discovered by hes huge intellect. Im 15 min inn and I already so disappointed that I don't want to watch this anymore. But I tried. The deathgod tells Ligth that he chosen to get it. Light is also suppose to be supersmart. And the first thing he does is to tell the girl hes been eyeballing about the deathnote, telling her that he was the one responsible for the death of the school bully. He is also not smart enough to figure out that hes the only one who can see the deathgod and brings her in to a situation where he believed she could see her. Remembering how scared he was himself when he saw the deathgod I would think he would prepare her a little more than "when you see him, try not to freak out. I freaked out a little". If that was a little this is some of the poorest writing I have ever seen.
Im amazed about writers trying to "create" something new and fail with popular anime. This is so poor and lazy I stopped 25 min inn. When a deathgod destroys almost everything in a classroom when you are in detention and its not even mentioned afterwards I think its damn lazy. Normally I would think the school would suspend for something like this at least mention this to the parent. But no. This was not mentioned around the dinner table when he was confronted about this from hes dad.
If you liked the original, I recommend not seeing this. If you are new, maybe you find it more enjoyable. But if you like good movies I don't think this is it. It gets a 2 because I liked the idea of Willem Defoe as the deathgod.
Wonder Woman (2017)
Good start. Ended badly.
This movie started really good. I was invested. It was interesting. Everything looked perfect to be the best of all the DC Comic films made so far in this generation. The somehow naive main character who has been living in a bobble and think she can accomplish anything and knows everything, but have no idea how the world works.
The problems somehow starts when Amazons die whey to easy. The problems continue when they beat the "front" way to fast and there is almost no soldiers. And in the end they are in an airbase that should be full of Nazis but they still manage to sneak in and make a lot of noise and still don't get any attention from the enemy. They are also able to have long dialog with no interference and no noise from the surroundings.
The acting I actually thought was good. I bought in to the naivety of the main character.
The fighting scenes was sometimes very good. From watching half the movie I was sure this was gonna be the best from DC in a long while. Instead it became a big disappointment.
Some serious script issues.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013)
Developing to be my favorite show
This show was a slow starter. A plot with a lot of potential. Thats why I kept watching. And damn in not regretting it. Characters developing from kind of stereotype to become characters with dept. Now I love characters that I didn't like from the start.
Now I love this show. The plot is developing naturally. I don't get the feeling badguys drop out of nowhere. The writers have done some really great work. Cant wait for the next episode. Really hope there will be a new season.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Farewell, Cruel World! (2017)
Keep getting better
One of the most intense episodes in my TV watching career. For one who is totally invested in the series this was nail biting. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. When the one problem is solved there is another bigger problem around the corner. The plot I think is complicated but I think they pull it of with class. This is starting to be one of the best arc's from any series. I really hope the series can finish with an even bigger blow and some surprises.
