Mother! (2017)
9/10
Good film.

Mother! Is a film plenty of allegories to the Bible. The development of the film is a little confusing if you don't understand the references, if you do, then you'll enjoy the whole movie. Bardem performance is awesome, as always. I've no more to say about the film. Go watch it, I recommend it.

So Stunning
22 April 2017
Starring Jack Nicholson, One Flew the Cuckoo's nest it is a piece of art. At the beginning of the film I've got a little confused, but that was because I was expecting something else. The well-worked plot and the awesome performances make this movie something else than that. The history, the storyboard and the final are simply awesome. The movie tries to got us into a metaphor of life, a critic one. And also invites us to analyze to our modern society, at the end of the day, Who are crazier, us or them?

Excellent movie 10/10

Not a movie for everyone
21 April 2017
Nice movie, but not for everyone. The movie goes beyond the screen. It tries to question the ethic and moral values of the American society, while showing how the normalization of evil leads the man to a satiety that turns him into a insensitive being. Bardem's excellent performance. Nice movie, watch it.

Nice comedy

An Italian film that shows the stereotypes around Italy (and so many parts of the world) and puts them into contrast with the Norway's culture. A simple and fresh comedy that's going to make you laugh out loud. It has some inconsistencies but at the end of the day It let us a good lesson. If you want to relax, watch this movie.

The Matrix (1999)
10/10
Master piece, period.
20 April 2017
Today I decided to see this film, the work of the Wachowski sisters. My desire to see this piece of film was born just yesterday that I saw Keanu Reeves in John Wick 2. I had already seen Matrix Revolution in an already non-existent cinema in my hometown of Zacatecas. By that time I was just a boy about 4 years old and all I remember is Neo dodging bullets with his characteristic black glasses. I had heard a lot from Matrix, but I really knew very little, I thought it was a science fiction thing, and I was wrong. Matrix is something very well achieved, because it has drama, action, romance, suspense and plot in little more than two hours. As the movie progressed, I remembered more of The Fight Club, which is a film starring Brad Pitt that constantly questions the system. Matrix is somewhat similar, although it has a different approach, the result is the same, wondering about life. What is real? It is the central question of the film. There are Neo, Morpheus and their associates, who are firm in that the real is outside the Matrix, but for their part, there are also Cypher and the agents who defend the Matrix and consider it as real and absolute. The development of the story around this question is magnificent. Leaving aside the explicit in the Matrix, its content goes much further. Neo represents the chosen, becomes the Jesus Christ that can save the world and destroy the Matrix, is something close to the superman. Also in Matrix you can see something about the methodical doubt of Descartes, doubting even of the own existence. By the above, the Matrix could be considered as a philosophical work, which brings philosophy to the ordinary citizen. The reflection and the learning that leaves us the film is important. At the end of the day, one has to try to leave the Matrix, dodging the thousand and one ways that exist to distract us, to manipulate us and make us more flimsy. We must find our way and modify it to our liking, always guided by an oracle, called love, knowledge or religion.

Prisoners (2013)

One of the best movies of the last decade
20 April 2017
This is a very well made film. Quiting its first 30 minutes, the rest of the movie it's a time where you got to think a lot. Predicting the character's movements, thinking about who's going to be the criminal and guessing the end of the movie, makes this film a really watchable one. If you like thrillers, you're going to love this film! Watch it!

A pure cult film

Scorsese's favorite movie, even more than Goodfellas. Good rhythm, trama and performances. Don't even talk about the well- worked soundtrack and the good photography. Travis guide us all around NYC and show us the underground world whitout any kind of censorship. The spirit of turning things into something better is the final conclusion of his main character, which only wants to redeem what he think he must redeem. Awesome and classical scenes in every single minute of the film. Must see it.
