Deal or No Deal (2005–2019)
9/10
Game show host, comedian, former cartoon actor.
22 May 2006
To tell the truth, I never thought the former "Bobby" (host Howie Mandell) would become a game show host, but many other actors such as Louie Anderson and Richard Karn (Family Feud) and Donny Osmond (Pyramid) have done this and made success out of it, and Mandell, in my opinion, was a good choice as host, despite the many ways he can ask that one question every viewer can think of an answer to, "Deal or No Deal?" Out of all the prime time game shows, I predict this will not become a syndicated daytime game show like others such as "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire," which changed hosts while it became syndicated, but Regis Philbin has hosted a few specials after the change, otherwise, Meredith Viera from "The View" as the host. The only person I don't like on the show is the banker because I think he can give better offers to contestants than what was shown on episodes. For example, the banker may offer around $100,000 when the contestant has his own case and four other cases, including the $1 million case and a couple of other top amounts are still on the board in play, NO DEAL. Overall, great show, even though the banker needs to get real.

Phil of the Future (2004–2006)

Good Disney cross between comedy and science-fiction
22 May 2006
I like watching this show, but it is like if "Star Trek" was a comedy, or a 30-min updated edition of "Back to the Future, " but Ricky Ullman as the main character instead of Michael J. Fox. It has so many things in common with usual science fiction shows or movies, such as a time machine, despite the malfunctioning mechanics of the one used (notice the "check engine" sign in the opening). Plus, the nice jumpsuits makes the family look like they are from "the future." That is why I summarize this show as a good Disney show that can be referred to a cross between a comedy and science fiction, more than just a Saturday morning cartoon (even though it's not a cartoon).

This movie's funny. I don't care who you are, it's funny.
1 April 2006
I don't know why most newspaper movie critics said this movie wasn't all that great, but I believe they are awfully wrong. Matter of fact, us movie goers do a better job criticizing movies than most "professinoal" movie critics can. I loved this movie (That's right, GIT-R-DONE). I was interested since the first time I watched the trailer. From what I saw in the movie, a lot of Larry's stand-up comedy bits were applied, especially visiting the lingerie store. Not one bad scene in this movie at all. I recommend this movie as a must-see for all Larry the Cable Guy or Blue Collar Comedy Tour fans. This movie, in what would appear to be Larry's terms :"That's funny right there. I don't care who you are, that's funny right there." Remember, GIT-R-DONE.

The Jeff Foxworthy Show (1995–1997)
Very good "Redneck-hour comedy" every Saturday night!
20 October 2005
I happen to like that redneck comedian Jeff Foxworthy, yet I can't tell which TV show is better, "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" or "Blue Collar TV." Both are good comedies, however, "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" is more of a family-oriented comedy while "Blue Collar TV" seems to be a redneck version of "Saturday Night Live." I just purchased a copy of "The Jeff Foxworthy Show: The Complete First Season" on DVD, which is pretty funny, but I think Sony Pictures Television (formerly Columbia-Tristar Television) should release the complete second season on DVD because I would like to purchase a copy. Besides having the show on DVD, the only other way to watch this show is via Saturday nights on Nick @ Nite (I like to call this Nick @ Nite's Saturday Night "Redneck Hour"). Very good show, and should have had a longer run. Bill Engvall (second season "The Jeff Foxworthy Show"), is very good as well.
