Hack My Life (2015– )
6/10
Not as bad as others want you to believe
10 January 2023
Yes, it's true that a lot of these "hacks" are ridiculously dumb. It's pretty much an exact copy of Household Hacker (R. I. P Dylan), but as an actual TV show. However, there's a few things I've never would of thought of and are actually helpful. If you're looking for a bunch of stuff to actually make your life easier then you wouldn't like this show, but if you're bored or want to learn of outside the box solutions to everyday problems, then you may actually enjoy the show. It's cheesey and mostly common sense, but as I stated before, the show passes the time and you'll actually learn some neat tricks even if they're cheap, lame, or sometimes just off the wall ideas. I think a rating of 6 is justified. It would've been higher if it wasn't a Household Hacker clone.

Better than I thought

I can't stand "reality" tv shows, but I actually enjoyed this one. It doesn't matter if it's real or not, at least it was entertaining.

Side note, is it just me or does Sammie resembles Mila Kunis? Not so much as looking the same, but her voice is almost the exact same.

Good thing this episode exist

I know it sounds counterintuitive, but let me explain why it's a good thing the episode was made. Being born with a form of epilepsy (petite mal seizures) isn't easy to live with. Strobing lights don't effect me, but having random seizures triggering is completely dangerous.

Does it suck that 685 children were affected? Absolutely, but that's 685 people who were diagnosed in a safer environment. Think of the positive aspects of all the people who are now safely and properly medicated. Also, think of all of the lives that were saved. Imagine not knowing you have a seizure disorder and have one will driving. This episode potentially saved lives, not just for the people with the disorder, but others who may have been on the road.

Like I said, seizures aren't a laughing matter. It's a very serious medical condition. And since I was born with them, I definitely understand how much worse this could have been.

First Review

This is my first review. After all of the waiting for this season finale, I have to say the wait was well worth it! An amazing ending to an amazing show. The only question I have is What happened to Rory? He said he would be back, so I assumed he would have been there for the finale. Anyway, I can't wait until season 6!
