Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024– )
9/10
It's not the movie, it's a really good version of the movie
4 February 2024
My girlfriend and I enjoyed this series. The series has a balance that is not easily done. It's not your typical run of the mill shoot 'em up every other scene type of series.

The series co-exist in a relatable relationships dynamics, it explore some of the different emotional and insecure stages that relationships may encounter. Some of the wants and needs that makes relationship what they are.

Now you add that essence to the Mr and Mrs Smith film and you will start wondering "maybe me and my girlfriend came become spies?"

Donald Glover is amazing, and his co-star Maya Erskine complements him well.

Give a try and disconnect yourself from what you previously known of the original film.

Snowfall (2017–2023)
10/10
Hard to believe it's based on a true story. But sadly all good things must comes to an end.
20 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Snowfall is a gripping crime drama series that tells the story of the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles during the 1980s. Created by John Singleton, Eric Amadio, and Dave Andron, the show is a stark portrayal of the devastating impact of the drug trade on individuals and communities.

The show follows the lives of several characters, including Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), a young street entrepreneur who becomes involved in the drug trade; Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson), a CIA operative who runs a secret operation to fund the Contras in Nicaragua; and Gustavo "El Oso" Zapata (Sergio Peris-Mencheta), a Mexican wrestler turned enforcer.

The show is well-written, with strong performances from the entire cast. The characters are complex and layered, and the storylines are engaging and thought-provoking. The show also does an excellent job of capturing the mood and atmosphere of 1980s Los Angeles, with its bright lights, seedy underbelly, and racial tensions.

Overall, Snowfall is an excellent TV show that is well worth watching. It's a powerful and compelling drama that shines a light on an important moment in American history. If you're a fan of crime dramas or historical dramas, you won't want to miss it.

Marlon Wayans: God Loves Me (2023 TV Special)
9/10
Wow, this special is funny and unique, you will not be disappointed.
12 March 2023
I watched this special with the expectation it will be like all his other specials, a bit bland and lackluster.

Well, my expectations were not met. Marlon delivers a tasteful and hilarious twist to slapgate. Compared to Chris Rocks' special, Marlons takes you on a fun ride into the worlds of all three people involved (Will, Jada, and Chris). Do not be mistaken that this special is all about Marlon throwing a few jokes together for a few laughs, no Marlon is immersed indirectly in the lives of all three individuals.

It's one hour of pure comedy, don't overthink it, The Oscar slap is the talk of the town, a moment in history that will live forever in Oscar Award History. So why not enjoy it now while we still can? Everyone else is doing it, so laugh about it now so you don't have to cry about it later.

Santa exist and someone murdered him lol
23 December 2022
If you are a fan of Improv and The Murderville series you will fall right in line (unscripted) and enjoy this short series. If Escape Rooms were to turn into improv style puzzle this will be it! It's interactive, funny and quick on your feet.

If you have not seen Murderville or a fan of improv, watch this episode because it's pure comedy and it's less than an hour ( 52 minutes).

And if you do not like it, just can make up the 52 minutes that you lost by scrolling through your phone for hours.

Will Arnett and Jason Bateman are great, I sense some Arrested Development character feel on their improv. Maya Rudolph was her Saturday night live self. So Watch Murderville and Who Killed Santa and trust me you will not regret it.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Day Shift (2005)

Don't quit your day job.

It's a fun movie, that's about it. If you can turn your brain off, and watch this lifeless, brainless very forgettable vampire film then you may enjoy a few scenes. It's a one time watch, a different spin from any other vampire film.

Jamie Foxx is slowly dragging himself down from an academy award winning A-list actor to now I'll do anything for a check Bruce Willis B-/C+ actor. Let's spin the wheel of fortune and see where Netflix will land Jamie Foxx next, Maybe in space.

Meagan Goode role is minimal, not enough to impact the film....thank god Dave Franco add a Comedic twist similar to a buddy cop film. He is the weird, corky partner who manages to get himself in all the wrong situations.

Oh yea vampires everywhere. Fight scenes are entertaining. All in all don't expect much and you will live. Fun for the family.

Fun family movie, just leave the time travel to Micheal J Fox
19 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Fun movie for the family, good jokes for the kids, humorous enough for adults. Action scene are PG and a little love story to wrap it all nicely together.

But if you are looking for it to make scientific sense, then lower your expectations.

They travel back in time on a timeline that's already been altered (oh so they think) to destroy a time machine, while screwing with the same timeline. But the time machine was supposedly created in its right timeline but because it was used for evil (which they don't explain) we are going to destroy the time machine all together erasing humanity's greatest accomplishment. Because we couldn't keep it out of the hands of evil.

The curse of the black perspective
26 May 2022
In 2022 this series stand strong beyond the accusations. Disney is a giant so they can afford to lose an actor like Johnny, but they can't erase the history of memories created from his films.

I re-watched his movies with a new point of view, and I am glad to have this new perspective. This movie is beyond its years and will forever be a staple in Hollywood classics.

I AM A GOD
20 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This man is sane in a insane world. This documentary proves just that. You don't have to be a fan, just be a person who can appreciate someone will to be the best, the great, the goat. Unseen Footage that was filmed before he became who he is now. Only downfall in this documentary is a 10+ years gap of unseen footage. Most of the footages dates back to the start of Kanye, then it fast forward and touches on the now kanye. Ts worth a watch if you ever questioned this man's mental health.

Chicago Party Aunt (2021–2022)
1/10
So who is the target audience for this show?
19 September 2021
Not all things on Netflix are bad, but when it's bad it's bad. To get something labeled "Adult Animation" we need to check of an overuse of the F-bomb, brief nudity and controversial topics. It's all good if it's in good taste, for example "Hoops" was in bad taste, so we have a male in his mid 40s who is a basketball coach/ gym teacher who life is falling apart around him, try to find meaning in his pathetic life through teaching kids the art of basketball by using the F-bomb over and over.

"Big Mouth" is in good taste and if you have not seen it, go watch it.

Now, this show is about a woman in her mid-40s living in Chicago whose life is upside down because she can't let go of her party-filled past so she perpetuates her lifestyle over and over on to others no matter the situation. If people can relate to this, then this is the show for you.

This is just the beginning
21 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Short and simple... It's just the beginning of a zombie apocalypse, there are a lot of confusion and questions. The characters were once regular people with families and were living a normal life. In an instant ,the world is turned upside down without an explanation. You cannot expect regular people who knows absolutely nothing about zombie apocalypse to start shooting the undead in the head as if they wwere training their entire life for it. For those who gave it a bad review, put yourself in their shoes, what the hell are you going to do?
