What???
18 March 2006
If you aren't into surreal and enjoy a story, don't watch this one. I have no idea what it is about. All I can surmise is that it is a director's fantasy. It is a fantasy about what this film director would love to do to his actresses and also what this director would love to see. It's a film for David Lynch by David Lynch. The one redeeming quality is Naomi Watts' performance. Otherwise, "What The H....E.....double hockey sticks?" My film viewing time is too precious to be spent on this. I feel, as when I am waiting in a supermarket check out line, that I now know far too much about David Lynch. Other good things, good choice of setting in some scenes, but the slow pan and scan on doorways, mugs, and furniture are just too much. The key? Some personal meaning that only Lynch can understand.

Little Bill (1999–2004)
A Rare Treat
8 January 2006
A wonderful, realistic depiction of a family living in the city, this show takes it's time with human interactions in a way that is refreshing and enjoyable. There seems to be no end of realistic topics that are covered. I highly recommend it. It is the best thing I have watched with children in years.

Little Bill's older sister and bother are great kids; but they lose their patience, get tired and grouchy, snip at each other while the mother patiently but firmly guides their actions, sometimes leaving decisions to the three of them to work out. Little Bill's friends in school reflect the diversity of the city while the teacher's role reflects the challenges and rewards of the job.
