Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire (2023)
Evil Lloyd Christmas
There's possibly an okay movie somewhere in this heap, but as is it's kinda bad. From the bad guy looking like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber to terrible CG in a lot of places this movie is a mess. It also just shoves everything in your face with no time to breath. It just feels like someone took a rejected Star Wars script and just kept adding troupes into it to add to the run time.
The only thing I'm actually curious about in Part 2 is the robot who got all of 2 minutes screen time in this one.
If you already have a Netflix subscription and have some time to waste it's not the worst movie ever so maybe give it a watch if you're into sci-fi, but you won't be messing anything if you don't.
Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist (2023)
DISAPPOINTED!
Went with my mom because she wanted to see it. Terrible story, acting and pacing. It's weird that the positive reviews are about Christ instead of the movie at all and they even get the actors names completely wrong.
I'd say the only good part is Neal McDonough who plays Johnathon, but that's only because he plays the same person in all movies he's in and it's entertaining to watch.
This was even worse than the Kirk Cameron movie. Don't waste your time. Not even on streaming.
Well since this review needs to be a certain amount of characters let me just say that I find it hilarious Keven Sorbo goes on TV and is completely antivax, but is so hard up for work in movies he got vaccinated to be in this. Either that or he's just full of it.
Resident Evil (2022)
Terrible
Why would you write a show where the main characters are not likable at all? It's not like the movies were masterpieces, most of them were pretty bad, but at least you could still watch them and be entertained. This show however is just unwatchable.
There's no way to watch it and not just hate the kids. Lance Reddick is awesome in everything, but not even he could make this watchable. They need to format the hard drives this show is stored on and blacklist the writer and whoever green lit it.
Venom (2018)
Can't believe it was so good
Seeing critic reviews and scores lame 'ol RT I thought maybe it wasn't going to be very good, but I was wrong. It was great. The story was actually good and Tom Hardy's voice wasn't annoying in the movie like it was in the trailer. The Venom character was great. Him and Tom Hardy played off each other great. My only complaint is that it was too short. I hope the cut 30 or 40 minutes is on the Blu-Ray and I really hope we get another with the same cast. I would recommend this to anyone. I've never been a Venom fan, but I am now.
Death Wish (2018)
Worth the watch
I didn't even know this was out. Did they not do any marketing? I enjoyed it, but it could have been better. There's only like 2 little parts that didn't really flow for me and I think there was something missing, but the ending was decent and like I said earlier I enjoyed it. If your looking for a movie of this genre then give it a go and I think you'll be pleased.
Roseanne (1988)
What a mess
This show uses more laugh track than The Big Bang Theory. It seems like it's trying to be edgy, but still back in the 90's. The old series was really good, but something is different now and it's not for the better. Also in the second episode she walked her grandson into school and then the class room and gave a speech? What schools allow the kids parents/guardians to walk them into class? Did they do that just so she could use that white witch joke? Lame.
