High School Musical: The Musical - The Series: Born to Be Brave (2023)
Utterly magical
This series finale felt like a reward for sticking around. I started watching this show jokingly, but was quickly reeled in when the first episode released. Watching these characters undergo so much growth during the last four seasons has been a pleasure. Seeing their growth come into a catharsis in the final episode was gut-wrenchingly beautiful. I am filled with so much love for this show and for the writer's and actor's dedication to this season and carrying out a flourishing ending. This episode was a brilliant, emotional, and joyful ending to a standout show. HSMTMTS is a must watch especially for the nostalgic ones yearning to relive the HSM world but in a fresh way. I had no idea how much this show impacted me - who would have thought?
My Policeman (2022)
A film that leaves you smiling
This film is worth the watch. I was skeptical at the start due to Harry Styles' acting, but I am so glad I moved past this and focus on the story and stunning cinematography in this film. The soundtrack and score greatly heightens the emotions the film produces - leaving smiles till my face hurts, bittersweet tears, and simple happiness from seeing a beautiful love story represented.
My Policeman is a well executed love story, using a focus on human physicality, music, and emotion to transition smoothly between past and present.
I left this film feeling like I was floating. I highly recommend.
