Doctor Who: Spyfall: Part One (2020)
Here we go again!
It started pretty shallowly, I had hope for it, even though I was trying not to, after the horrible last season. This just makes me sad because Doctor Who has a special place in my life, but since the change of showrunners, it has been pretty awful. At least this episode is better than any of the last season, and it seems to be shaping an actual plot for the season.
Kujira no kora wa sajô ni utau (2017)
Pretty in many ways!
First off all I have to talk about the art of the animation which was what actually made me watch the anime, I didn't expected to like it that much, I love when a anime has a non-mainstream kind of art, and here we have something like it, the art is gorgeous, a real masterpiece.
The writing here is also a major point, the story and the characters are well built, when I started to watch the first episodes I've seen myself curious to discover the secrets that this universe had. Many times the story just go to a unpredictable way, what is a also a good thing.
The soundtrack is amazing, I personally loved the ending song.
For me it is a masterpiece. 9/10.
Violet Evergarden (2018)
A masterpiece in every single way!
First of all what catch my attention instantly was the art of the anime, which is a masterpiece by itself. It is a pleasure without end to see such a gorgeous animation and my eyes sure thanks a lot. Since the first episode I could see that this anime would be worth my time. The way the history is presented to us and the way it develops itself is magnificent, it helds a feeling of mystery and sadness all the time, and it doens't fail to make you wish for more. The characters are well contructed and well explored too. This masterpiece is definitly going to my favourite animes list.
After finishing it - 04/06/2018.
The way the history devoloped trough the episodes was amazing, the story is touching and perfect, the end was perfect, it leaves itself open to interpretations and is not cliche. I loved it in every way, 10 out of 10 without doubt, It is now one of my favourites animes of all time.
The Mountain Between Us (2017)
Nothing new, but that doens't mean it's not worth your time.
To start with, it is given to us the basic and cliche plot where the main characters are put in a situation where they have to fight to survive. The movie is full of cliches throughout the experience and is the kind of movie where you alredy know how it's going to end in a way or another. Despite these things the movie is really well done and show us breathtaking landscapes, the tie that is created between the characters is completly predictable as well. The acting from Idris and Kate are amazing as expected. And despite the bad reviews it has gotten, it is a movie that deserves your time.
For me it's basically a 6,9/10.
