Not a Good movie
15 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Have you ever watched a movie so bad it was good? This is not one of those movies. There is a basic plot that seems to be about human trafficking. There is also some sort of subplot that could be about a "super soldier" program or something but it's all so muddled I can't say for certain. The "hero" takes pills that apparently turn him into a guy who does not get his ass kicked in every fight. The "acting" if you can call what the people in the film are doing acting, is worse than bad. The writer/director seems to feel just saying the lines is enough. Billed as an Action film there is not much Action to be had. If you come across one good review of this movie it was probably written by the Director's Mom. Put this movie on your "skip it" list and save yourself some time

Not for Everybody
1 April 2018
If you are looking for a great action movie with brilliant writing,Oscar worthy Acting and unbelievable stunts. Keep looking. If however you want a fun little movie that feels like it could have been made in the 80's on a shoestring budget you might want to give this movie a shot. I liked it more than I thought I would, maybe because I was expecting it to be awful. Not quite a So bad it's good movie it has some funny moments and an interesting fighting style on the part of the lead character. Are the fight scenes on a par with Jason Bourne or the Matrix, not even close. If you like "camp" or tongue in cheek type movies maybe give it a try.

watch something else
16 November 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This review may contain spoilers I watched this movie on Netflix and came to IMDb to see if Peter O'Toole was really in the film.He was. I had some high hopes for this movie as it starts out with several b movie action stars sitting around a table. Sadly they are mere cameos and a group of mostly unknowns star in the actual movie. The story seems jumbled and hard to follow the action, what there is of it is mediocre. IMDb seems to connect this movie to another as a re=edited version of that film. Perhaps the original version made sense and was interesting. I found this version to be neither. Most of the actors, including Peter O'Toole are over dubbed. Even the narrator who is supposed to be the lead character(I think) sounds nothing like the on screen voice. I love campy outdated 80's style action flicks. I did not love this.Unless you have no choice watch something else.

tomb raiders in China
14 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains a "spoiler" read at your own risk

Not the best tomb raider movie but I've seen worse. The action is uneven and it seemed like the movie could not decide if it was an action comedy, a caper film or an adventure flick.I never felt pulled into the story and "spoiler alert" when it looks like a lead character may have died I didn't really care but if you like a movie with subtitles that sometimes flash past before you finish reading and you have nothing else to do then watch this movie but if you want great plot, great acting and great storytelling then you might want to skip it.
