One of the greatest British sitcoms ever. One Foot in the Grave was thoroughly entertaining for its decade run from 1990-2000. Who could ever forget Victor Meldrew and his constant whinging and run of bad luck. I loved this show and wished it was still going. Richard Wilson is a fantastic actor and the shows guests like Mrs Warboys were hilarious also. Watch the telemovie they made in 1993 its a laugh a second. Congratulations to everyone involved in this one. Pure gold in every sense of the word, many sitcoms today you laugh at how unfunny it is, not One Foot in the Grave, a jewel in BBC's television schedule. Gone but in my mind never ever forgotten.

When in comes to Australian television series, Neighbours is a legend. From what began as humble beginnings way back in early 1985 this program has survived the test of time. Originally broadcast on Channel Seven the show was axed after just five months and was sold to Ten in 1986. The rest is history. This program has launched the careers of many Australians most notably, Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Guy Pearce, Natalie Imbruglia, Holly Vallance and Delta Goodrem. Whilst not as popular as its hey day in the late 1980's and somewhat unrecognisable from 1985, Neighbours continues to deliver strong story lines and keeps on keeping on. Heres to another 20 years.

A Country Practice is in my opinion the GREATEST drama series of all time. This show began before i was born and with a magnificent cast including Anne Tenney, Shane Porteous, Brian Wenzel, Joyce Jacobs, the late Syd Heylen and Gordon Piper as well as Georgie Parker entertained millions over viewers over a 12 year period. I still cant believe the show got the chop. It was bought by another network and reworked but the show was never the same. It should have stayed with seven and never should have been axed. In this day and age where many Australian dramas are getting axed and very few survive, illustrates just how magnificent this program was. ACP was axed in 1993. The 1994 version in my mind and many other die hard fans never existed and everyone goes on about how great Blue Heelers is but let me tell you A Country Practice in terms of size was a zillion times better. Fantastic to see so many old A Country Practice stars appear on All Saints in recent times. A long time favourite gone but never ever forgotten.
