The Speak (2011)
Not that bad
I don't regret watching it. I actually jumped a few times. If you like horror movies don't pass this one by. Is it a big budget flick? No. But was enjoyable all the same.
CO2 (2010)
Terrible
The movie concept was a good idea. It seems they pulled the actors off the street. There was no believability to their script. I was almost embarrassed by the carrying out of their lines. Not to mention, when I watched the credits, THEY KILLED A RABBIT TO MAKE THIS GARBAGE.
Neverlake (2013)
Mesmerizing
I don't understand all of the negative reviews. I really enjoyed this movie. It was interesting, had a wonderful feeling to it. The landscape and music were very interesting And the twist kept coming. The way the story unfolded Kept you enthralled. I was completely on the edge of my seat the majority of the movie. I could not wait to see how this played out. It was different than most scary movies. There were moments I felt tense. But the need to see how this played out overrode my fear. Give this one a go. You won't be disappointed.
Before I Fall (2017)
Wow
Sounds kinda stupid to say I loved this movie, but I did. It left me breathless. A must watch. I'm sure some of the scenes will stay with me for a very long time. I gotta say, it will make me pause for a sec before I open my mouth. This is definitely one of those 'it'll make ya think' movies. Don't pass this one by.
La femme du Vème (2011)
Horrible
This movie sucked. Don't believe the hype that it's some artsy fartsy movie. It's a pointless film with zero plot. I don't mind a movie that you have to think about or one that the ending is open to interpretation but for the love of all that's holy, have an ending. If you end up giving yourself an aneurysm just trying to figure out what the heck you just watched, something is wrong. Please, take my advice, skip it. If you don't, you will hate yourself.
The Gracefield Incident (2017)
Don't regret watching it
I don't think it was a waste of time and i don't think it seemed as low budget as some imply. I thought it was scary and made me jump. I also didn't mind the found footage, I like perspective it gives the viewer. But I didn't realize it was an alien flick. I'm not a fan. And I totally hate when an animal dies. I think it adds nothing to a movie.
First House on the Hill (2017)
Hated it
I can't believe I watched it all. I have this pathetic compulsion to see things thru regardless of how much agony it causes. This was all over the place. There was no cohesiveness. I think I got a migraine trying to follow it. The actors were so unnatural that it hurt. Lord I regret watching this. Please believe me, you do not want to watch this.
Imprint (2007)
Interesting to the end
I really liked this movie. There was a couple of things going on that kept you guessing. I saw one poster stating they didn't like the ending but I thought the ending was just right. Don't pass this one by.
The Body Tree (2017)
I liked it
Overall, I thought it was interesting. I thought it was an original storyline on the 'who done it?' With a side of paranormal thrown in. My main complaint is Helen. Geez if a killer is after you, screaming is probably a dumb idea. I wish she had a heart attack on the way up so she wouldn't have been in the majority of the movie.
The Trek (2008)
Pass
Ok. First I'll say I like premise. Happy couple meets psychos in a fight for their lives. I also like movies set in the woods, always adds a unknown quality but this was just to ridiculous for words. First the husband had the balls to beat up an old lady but not the mountain man? Secondly, how did the wife get that far away from her husband that quick? Then she finds she able is able to break the bonds AFTER her husband is dead?? She sits there crying while he is being tortured but decides to escape after he is dead. And the most preposterous part is she becomes a...what? Cannibal? Zombie? Who knows?
Inverse (2014)
Enjoyed
I really liked this. Was it absolutely fantastic? No, it wasn't, BUT it was interesting enough that you wanted to see how it ended. I don't regret watching it. On a sidebar, that has nothing to do with the actual movie, I though Josh Wingate was hot in this. ;)
Absentia (2011)
Eh
The movie was ok. I don't regret watching it but I wouldn't watch it again. I gotta say Trisha, one of the leads, really got on my nerves and her acting seemed amateurish.
The Unseen (2017)
Pointless
I would like to support the 'small guy' in film production but this sucked. It was like someone pulled the middle of movie and showed it. There was no conclusion or plot. It leaves you scratching your head wondering what the hell did you just watch. Believe me you should skip this one. You can thank me later.
