Barbershop Ballads (1945)
Featured by the 1940 SPEBSQSA Champion Quartet "Flat Foot Four"
This is a great movie / musical.
But might be difficult to find. It features barbershop music from the late 30's and early 40's. One notably is the SPEBSQSA (Society For the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop quartet singing in America, founded in 1938) Our 1940 International champions "Flat Foot Four" featured singing "Shine" on this work. It is highly worth the listen. If one desires to hear how acapella singing was done in the old days, this is clearly one way to go.

The Babe (1992)
Enjoyable Soundtrack + Histo-drama to boot!
The movie is especially enjoyable due to the presence of the 1988 Men's Barbershop champion - "The Chiefs of Staff" -- from the Illinois district of the Barberhsop Harmony Society. Tom Kentish, BHS singer from Chicago. It is recommended for anyone wanting a good depiction of the life of Babe Ruth and who enjoys an authentic barbershop quartet. The Chiefs of staff sing "Here Come The Bostons" -- apparently a song that was written for the Boston Red Sox while the Babe was playing for them.
Highly enjoyable movie, and be sure to rewind on the quartet when you hear it.
