Call Me by Your Name (2017)
Unexpected
This movie will most likely go down in cinema history. Everything about this film is beautiful due to the amazing location in Italy, the actors, the story, and the script. There is something in this movie for everyone, I was not too sure where the movie was going in the beginning but it quickly launches you into a love story you might not have expected. The ending was amazing an unexpected as well, I am really hoping a sequal is made so I can have some answers. Overall, a beautiful film and amazing lines to truly make you think in a deeper sense.
La musica del silenzio (2017)
Amazing
I enjoyed this film more than I thought I would. I have listened to Andrea Boccelli I do not know much about his life. With that being said I do not know if the film is accurate but it was still great all the way through. I loved the music, the set, the actors. and the storyline overall. I thought the actors did a great job displaying an emotional story. The film made me want to listen to Boccelli again, I had forgotten how amazing his music is. Seeing the story made me understand the struggle and have a better appreciation.
Baby (2018)
Great Show!
I was almost immedietly dragged into the show because of the drama. Every character is entertaining, Chiara I found was most intringuing. This show reveals how hard it is to be placed in a strict household with daily pressure being put on. Each episode reveals how a teen is exploring him/herself through their life in high school. I loved the lessons that could be learned from it in that it is only to make mistakes but also important to learn from them. I have only watched the first season but plan on watching the next!
The App (2019)
Not Good
I went into the movie thinking it was going to be good but I was wrong. The storyline jumps all over the place, the actors aren't very good, and the plot could have been conveyed in a better sense. I thought the movie would be a bit humourous and uplifting but I found that it was dreary all the way through. Entertaining to say the least but not good.
Slam: Tutto per una ragazza (2016)
Enjoyable
I really liked this film. It shows how ones passion can quickly come to a holt over a single event. This movie shows the challenges people experience having a child at a young age and how it can change your life forever. Overall, I enjoyed the movie and loved the main character as well as seeing his growth.
