Lady of the Manor (2021)
What a waste of talent
Wow seen that Judy Greer, Justin Long, Melanie Lynskey, Ryan Phillippe and even Patrick Duffy was in this I didn't hesitate to stream. Im half way through and I gotta shut this off, I tried so hard to like it just because I love these actors.
You know when somethings so bad and your rooting for it to be better and you actually feel bad for these stars cuzz you know they hate themselves for doing this flop. I actually cringed several times... Justin stick to acting this is low B level
You'll be tempted as I was but stay clear just saying!
3 stars for all the great stuff these guys have done outside of this script.
Madness Inside Me (2020)
Terrible just terrible
Not even wide screen; horrible low budget, everything is wrong with this movie from the acting to the delivery of the plot. Avoid even if your bored.
The Ice Road (2021)
Garbage and contains racisim towards whites
It's all been said in all the other reviews just avoid this at all cost or youll then have to pretend that you never watched it.
Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021)
Brutal waste of talent don't spend money to watch
Don't waste your time or money it one of those movies they just bring in Talent to make the movie in 2 weeks. No story no thought just a money maker that you'll be taken for. I've done my part and warned you.
Goodbye Honey (2020)
Don't waste your time you've been warned
The the writing is horrible the story is horrible I could go on and on but I'd be wasting your time just don't watch it
Banging your head against the wall would be time better used.
Nobody (2021)
Fun & Witty & Don't watch the trailer
First off don't watch the trailer go into it knowing nothing.
Seems everything Bob Odenkirk does is fun and witty. This is no different! Add a little crazy Christopher Lloyd grab some popcorn and and a beer, turn your brain off and enjoy the ride.
The Little Things (2021)
Can't believe people can't figure it out
Albert didn't do it and we are given a ton of Clues that prove it.
1 he admits in the interview in the Police Station that he's an admirer and follower of crimes and serial killers.
2 Albert is just a poser he already tried to admit to a murder years before.
3 when Deke breaks into the house he is startled by the police radio. He's a crime follower serial killers don't have Police radios. you also see the book Helter Skelter for the first time in Albert's apartment then again at the end when Deke is burning everything.
4 when Albert tells Jim where to dig and then goes oh no maybe it's over here or over there. Serial killers remember exactly where they bury their victims this is been proven. Many come back days later dig them up just to relive the crime.
You see Jim at the end has dug many holes in the area finding nothing.
5 the obvious one is one Deke sends the red hair clip the jim but actually purchased it.
6 in the hidden box under the floor there is not one personal item including no red hair clip from any of the victims. Serial killers are synonymous for keeping personal items as it lets them keep reliving the murders.
7 Albert knew they were breaking into his apartment as you see when he goes to the bar he automatically picks up the phone and calls officer down at the location of his apartment why would he let police into his apartment if he had evidence there.
8 another big clue is that the end find out that Deke actually killed one of the victims by mistake when they found the bodies of the two girls on the rocks years ago.
This is why he knows he has to cover up the murder for Jim so he has to never know that he killed the wrong person that he doesn't go through the mental anguish that he did.
9 the victim that survived only identifies Albert from police photos because she happened to see him in the hallway hand cuffed when she went to the washroom.
10 another huge clue Jim turns his back to Albert when he's digging and you clearly see that is gun is right there sticking out like a sore thumb on his hip Albert could have grabbed it no problem.
Clifton Hill (2019)
Where was all the beautiful scenery
Having been to Niagara Falls many times in my life and even stayed at the rainbow Inn Motel on one of my first visits I was very excited to take a look at this film. I really don't understand why they didn't take advantage of all the incredible scenery around Niagara Falls including yes the Falls themselves. There is really only one image of the falls blurry and at night and very quick. Many flashes of the casino Tower and surrounding buildings almost look like a stock video. Having been there many times I know all the locations where I would have tried to film none of which were included in this. 1) I would end up showing many shots of the falls both American and Horseshoe 2) also the Gorge 3) Rapids 4) whirlpool and cable car. 5) Maid of the Mist 6) Butterfly Conservatory 7) the flower clock 8) the beautiful parks. Brock's Monument Niagara-on-the-Lake the wineries the Museum's the restaurants, casinos, closeup or going up in the Skylon Tower. I could go on and on. They don't even actually show you Clifton Hill which is in the title of the movie which I found kind of funny. You can't even tell where some of the other shots are taken from because it's so dark and grainy and shot close up. Why film in such an elaborate location and not even show its Beauty. it's like making a film in the Grand Canyon but not showing the Grand Canyon and related tourist areas. Anyone watching this film who had an idea of may be visiting Niagara Falls if not having ever seen it probably would have less interest to go. I gave it at 4 for decent acting.
Good Boys (2019)
What's next 12 yr old girls
So if this movie makes a profit then it paves the way for the next totally inappropriate one.... but then they will have to bump up the inappropriate to say have 12 yr old girls calling each other slang female parts names . Seth are you that desperate. The 2 is for the young actors unfortunately doing what their told.
47 Meters Down: Uncaged (2019)
Dumb
Don't waste your time on this it's an hour and a half of 4 girls screaming underwater in their mics when they know that the sharks are blind and can only sense noise. Also everybody knows that when you're running out of air in any kind of situation Don't Panic or you're going to use more air. I gave it at 2 because of the underwater sets the rest is garbage. Trust me take my word for it.
Lake Placid: Legacy (2018)
Where's the Croc.
If you're going to have a movie about a giant croc you should probably show it once in a while. The series took a big slam from the cgi over the time but honestly I still found them all fun and felt like it stayed in tune with the original plot up until now. I do like the series and so wanted to like legacy but it failed terribly. They had solid acting but obviously no budget for the cgi so I ask why make the movie at all. When they do show the croc it's blurred and unrealistic and you wait until near the end to finally see just how bad it is. The plot started out somewhat ok but went to crap quick. Why they went where they did (into a giant bunker) was I guess a diversion cause they had no budget to show the croc. Most of the kills scenes don't even show the croc and are inside in a dark bunker. I hope this isn't the legacy for real of this series. They need to go back to the roots with the local towns people and add in a couple of big city folks with the dark comedy and it would be a pleasure if we even got back past cgi budget. I gave it a 2 for the acting and only watched to the end because I'm a devoted fan. I Know the rating will drop to around 3 as it sits at about 4.4 due to cast and friends voting. Comon bring back Betty White and keep the action outside.
