Fear the Walking Dead: Cindy Hawkins (2021)
Yawnfest
Wow, how has this show actually gotten worse since the last episode? I'm completely at a loss to what's going on. It seems that the scriptwriters hadn't planned on how they were going to continue after (quite the most preposterous storyline in zombie history) the nuclear apocalypse.
At the time of Teddy's explosion (and let's not forget how ridiculous a character he was), I thought it was going to be the end of the series. Considering there was no mention or revelation of a nuclear explosion in the far superior Walking Dead. It seemed the obvious conclusion was the explosion.
Oh! How wrong we all were. For some reason they decided to keep going with this abomination of a show. So do yourselves a favour and go watch something less mindless instead.
The Walking Dead: Rogue Element (2022)
Yawnfest
The worst episode ever. Was so boring it took me three attempts to get through. I've always found Eugene dull, but this was a whole new level of tediousness.
Black Summer (2019)
Dumbest characters ever
I really wanted to like this, as I'm a huge zombie fan. But the characters, really? Not a single one would survive 10 minutes. Why have fast zombies (which is wrong), if the survivors are so dumb.
Zombies should be slow, otherwise nobody would survive, that's why Romero designed them that way.
Vikings: Death and the Serpent (2020)
The fall of Lothbrok
Absolutely loved parts of this episode. The fight between Lagartha and White Hair was incredible. But to kill Lagartha off the way they did was heartbreaking. Such an incredible character (the strongest in the series by far), deserved a more vikinkesk death. The series certainly won't be the same going forward.
Halloween (2018)
End was a letdown
Quite enjoyed the movie as a whole, however there were a few scenes that were completely irrelevant. The father getting peanut butter on his penis was bizarre.
But my main problem was with the end, very anticlimactic. I suppose it leaves it open for another, Micheal is obviously not dead, and the granddaughter with the knife was intriguing.
Overall a half decent entry into the franchise, but could of been oh so much better.
Virus (1980)
Hard work
Quite simply the worst acting of any Italian Zombie film I've seen. From the onset the cast have a habit of staring. The gore is pretty good, but not on a par with the better known classics.
