Miss Scarlet & the Duke (2020)
Sucker for the romance mystery genre!?!?!
You don't have to be to like this series. The chemistry between the main characters is great but this series is also intelligent and occasionally quite witty! The time period was when science in investigation was just starting. Fun to watch the twisting plots and rich characters. Costuming is anachronistic but extremely beautiful. Worth the time spent and I sure hope their are more planned.
Horse Camp (2015)
Family appropriate and quality theme.
Girls need to be taught how to make friends and more importantly be a friend. This is a vacarious summer camp trip with emphasis on friendship! The horses are a great and beautiful addition to the story. Good horsemanship is practiced. This should be on your family shelf.
A Dogwalker's Christmas Tale (2015)
Dogs lovers fun fluff Xmas tail
Sometimes you want a dog story that isn't sad! Sometimes you want a romance that isn't dopey and instant. Sometimes you want people to find solutions! Sometimes you want to watch a movie that gives you all of the above. I'd like to rate it 10/10 but in the great scheme of things this isn't a great movie. This is a fluff movie that is really fun to watch. I ever got past the male leads constant mugging the camera. Yes I highly recommend this movie for a gentle evenings relaxation!!!!
The Finder (2012)
Crazy good... and no one noticed.
This series stays as one of my favorite! I'm still devastated that the demise of Michael Duncan Clark forced the decision to cancel this great show. It was quirky like northern exposure. It had a great cast blend like Night Court. It had intelligence in the writing! It was in a weird time slot and most people never even knew it was a show. I think everyone who actually saw two episodes all the way through was hooked! I still ponder the blackboard quotes!!!
Wind Dancer (1993)
A good family horse film
This story is well written and well acted! It's a low budget production but well filmed. The plot is a using animals to heal story but realistically portrayed to a point. Riding at the end was a little unrealistic but feel good. No extreme violence except horse being whipped and dog getting hit by cougar. This is a story you can let kids watch unsupervised.
Wildfire: The Arabian Heart (2010)
How is this possible?
I love animal films and especially horse films. This is the worse film I have ever endured. The writing was a list of empty platitudes and the acting was mostly not. The horsemanship was terrible. I really am amazed that time and effort went into producing this film.
