De slag om de Schelde (2020)
Disappointing
The film is unbalanced, some parts are good, others disappointing. Visually a good job has been done. The big problem is the scenario, which at times takes strange and illogical turns. The acting is OK but none (of the lead actors) who stood out. Not the most successful Dutch production about WWII in Holland. Although you wouldn't say that by the (too) high rating.
The Escape from Auschwitz (2020)
Really Bad
WOW, This was really bad. You would expect that it's impossible to make such a bad film on the Holocaust and concentration camps. Beside that the acting is, to be mild, not good, the film never even try to get your interest Also because it looks like a stage play. You never feel involved and after half an hour or so, you don't mind. If you can't deliver a more decent work on such an important piece of History you should find another profession
Fauda (2015)
Well made !
I watched this as fiction (not as non fiction)
Extremely well made.
Everything is in it, suspence, drama, action.
The best series I have seen in years, strong acting (sometimes a little over the top).
Although there are shocking scenes in it, I enjoyed watching Fauda.
The Return of the Dancing Master (2004)
A TV Movie...and it shows
The acting is rather motionless, the lack of pace and the length just kills this movie.
Everyone is trying hard to make something of it but it rarely shows.
One of the many mediocre made for TV movies
Extant (2014)
Not a 10, but also not a 1
OK, the story moves too slow, lots of clichés, but that doesn't mean everything is bad. Especially the acting of Piece Gagnon is quite good! I understand people to be disappointed ( I'm also) but it's not "bad".
Operation Finale (2018)
This was not the way it happened
Besides the fact that Kinsley wasn't the right choice to play Eichman, too much is added to the story that did not happen.
Waste of time.....
