The benchmark to which all other Robin Hood films strive to be and not one has even got close. Errol Flynn is dashing, charismatic and devilishly handsome as Robin Hood while Olivia de Havilland is a very beautiful Marion. Combined with a tour de force of being a villain by the sublime Basil Rathbone as Sir Guy this ultimate swashbuckler has it all. The best motion picture ever made? In my opinion definitely and 84 years old. Absolutely epic.

Charming classic comedy.

One of my favourite films which I never tire of watching. Margaret Rutherford is sublime as Madam Arcarti and Rex Harrison is suave as usual. Like other remade classics such as Dad's Army I wouldn't dream of watching anything other than the original and best versions.
Inspector George Gently
(2007–2017)
Quality retro show.

The characters are believable especially in the era it is set, they don't murder the accent (yes I am from the North East) and it's mixture of humour, grit and humanity are great. The use of the entire area in the setting makes me smile as one second they are in the Toon then in Durham as if It's the same place. It's a great series though and a reprise would be really great.
Finding Bigfoot
(2011– )
Absolutely Hilarious.

Every programme these head the balls go around the U. S. A. Roam around the woods, howl a bit then imagine they hear something go looking for it and find surprisingly... nothing imagine that? So bloody bad it's mesmerising.
The Cruel Sea
(1953)
Gritty Naval drama.

Jack Hawkins is one of my favourite actors and his portrayal of the Captain in this gritty look at escort duty in the R. N.
It's a great film which is harrowing and dark in places. No jingoistic flag waving to be seen just a realistic look at the war at sea.
Charming British comedy.

Dad's Army
(2016)
Cringe worthy remake of an icon.

One word review UNWATCHABLE. It would appear that is not enough. Dreadful script and an original just too iconic and well established in the mind makes it unwatchable. There's some fine actors in it but that just is not enough.
In Which We Serve
(1942)
A masterpiece.

A true classic of British culture and the real nature of the country at the time. The story is well told and the human aspects of total war are very moving. This and The Cruel Sea are two of my favourite films. The old stiff upper lip takes a wobble everytime.
