Cyberpunk 2077 (2020)
JUST WAIT 6 MONTHS!
This is a REALLY great game, it just has a lot of bugs. But it has a huge support team to make patches to the game and sort all of them out. Anyone who is complaining about this game is talking about the bugs and glitches, but literally every major title has that problem for a while. GTA 5 still has it, RDR2 had holes in the world you could fall through, Fallout is just... Fallout. This is a great game you will LOVE to play, just wait a few months for the bugs to be hammered out. If you don't believe me, go watch a streamer play the first few hours of it, it is a great game, just a bit glitchy.
American Dad! (2005)
If You Like It When The Most Annoying Character In A Show Always Gets Their Way, This Show Is For You
Look, I actually kind of like this show. Not going to lie. If find the family dynamic better at times than Family Guy. But it's characters like Francine and Roger that ruin this show. Neither character is smart and they ALWAYS get what they want. Rodger is that character that is such a dick to everyone that you want to see them get their ass kicked, but it rarely happens. His character is always in it for himself and he is basically the only consistent villain in the show. But he's not a good villain, he's the kind of villain that would crap on the stairs and leave it for someone to step on. The show proves how Rodger was basically a mistake and was supposed to die in a crash test simulator but he still thinks he is the most important person in the universe. I can get behind a selfish dick, I like Rick and Morty, but Roger has no redeeming qualities. He just screams and craps on the episodes plot. Francine is just dumb and annoying, the writers should have given her more depth. So if you would like to see an alien beat up a child so he can have their toy or have a mom kill her family because she can't trust them for some dumb reason, watch this show.
Blair Witch (2019)
YOU DON'T KILL THE DOG
The game is good, don't get me wrong. But there is ONE RULE, even if the ending is not canon, you always give an ending where the dog lives happily ever after. This game doesn't do that. It gives that dog a sad ending no matter what. For that, I give this game 1 star. Bullet is one of the most loyal dogs in any video game, and there is no happy ending for him. Even the "Good" ending, which is SUPER hard and impossible to get on your first go (since you need to literally forget any assumptions about video games collectibles and ignore in game instructions) gives bullet a sad ending. Bullet either curls up next to a dying Ellis, or looks at Ellis/(now)Carver sadly as he walks into the forest. The bad ending? Bullet leaves the dying Ellis or barks at him when he turns into Carver. The endings are crap. YOU ALWAYS GIVE THE DOG AT LEAST ONE HAPPY ENDING. Screw the main characters, the dog deserves a happy ending.
Airplane! (1980)
Didn't age well... but a pretty good film.
It's a pretty good goofy comedy from the 80's with some pretty funny running gags. Some of the race humour is where it loses the appeal for me. The black people "translations" is pretty unnecessary and the other instances of casual racism and racial stereotypes really didn't need to be in the film. I get that it was at the very least tolerable in the 80's, but it is pretty cringy to watch those scenes now. Other than that, it's a pretty good film to sit down and have a chuckle at.
The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan (2019)
Little bit of a let down...
The game is good don't get me wrong, but it isn't like Until Dawn. In Until Dawn you became very attached to the characters, which is something Supermassive missed the mark on here. The story of Until Dawn also felt longer and developed characters more. Personally I think using more established actors would have helped make people more involved with characters. Part of what made Until Dawn feel amazing was you had NO IDEA what was going on, while Man of Medan feels a bit too straight forward. The nice thing about Until Dawn was that it was drawn out for suspense, while Man doesn't have as much. Another problem was that Man felt really confined and direct , oppose to the dark and long forest trails in Until Dawn which could harbour collectibles in any corner. On the positive note the graphics were cleaner especially on PC and the multiplayer movie function was a great idea (albeit needs a little tweaking). In the end the game is good and fun to play, but don't expect any GOYT edition. In the future Supermassive needs to work on character development, a more open feeling environment, and return to the horror movie cliches that we all know and love.
Good Omens (2019)
Sacrilegious and Effing HILARIOUS!!!
This show has quickly become a personal favorite of mine! I went through Catholic school all my life and the sacrilegious way this show represents theological history is AMAZING. I look forward to seeing more from this series. SIMPLY FABULOUS!!!
Adam Ruins Everything (2015)
This is AWESOME!!!! Don't stop filming this show!!!!
This so is hilarious! I love the way he proves almost everything you know is wrong and I use this show to one up my friends all the time. I hope they keep making these episodes FOREVER!
Fallout 76 (2018)
Ok. Let's think.
It does improve the game's graphics. It doesn't accurately continue the idea of V.A.T.S. The story needed to be worked on more and it was a mistake removing NPCs. If they made it a single player game with the option of a small party(with the cost of losing the V.A.T.S system) this would rock. The places are new and original and the majority of combat has greatly improved. The idea of having no companions was just bad. The designers should have predicted that to be a mistake. Now given what is said the game is great, and the environment feels exactly like Fallout should, but it now feels lonely as well. It had potential it really did, but Bethesda needed to look at what Fallout TRULY was and what players TRULY wanted. If I want to play online with my friends I turn on Fortnite or Overwatch or whatever fad game is popular. I turn on Fallout to escape that, make mistakes and RELOAD them, experiment, and create my own story. So I can recommend the game, but not as a Fallout game. Bring back the Fallout feeling Bethesda, dont screw up your next installment in my favorite video game series.
Gravity Falls (2012)
DISNEY HASN'T MADE A SHOW LIKE THIS IN YEARS AND CAN'T POSSIBLY MAKE ANOTHER LIKE IT.
This show is just so fascinating to watch! The story is unique and different from anything else, the last a mystery show was so dark has to have been "Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated". Characters were cast to roles perfectly and actually sound like you think they would sound in real life. I will never be able to hear their voice actors again and not think of their "Gravity Falls" characters.
Breaking Bad (2008)
GREATEST SHOW OF ALL TIME!!!
This was such a dramatic show that had you feeling for the characters until the end. Some parts were a little tedious but they made up for it in other ways like the elaborate plans and over the top characters that were cast to their roles perfectly. The amazing makeup and costume designs were always perfectly executed and clever in what they represented. In my opinion this is THE BEST show ever made!
