Night of the Living Dead (1968)
It scared the living daylights out of me
I remember when I was about 8 years old when I saw Night of the Living Dead for the first time and it scared me so bad of dead people up until 1998 when my father died. By the way, I am 44 years old. I have seen many horror flicks but this one takes the cake. I refuse, even to this day will not watch this movie. In my mind, I feel that this movie should have won an Oscar, because it was so horrifying. I have yet to see another horror movie since then that scarred me so bad. If you stop and think about it, horror films to this day do not have the impact that Night of the Living Dead did. There have been so many movies trying to follow in the footsteps of Night of the Living Dead, but they did not even come close. This is the scariest movie that I have ever seen. My Mom and Dad always told me that "it's not the dead ones that can hurt you, watch out for the live ones." All I can say is if you don't want to have a nights sleep, don't watch Night of the Living Dead.
Strange Voices (1987)
Very interesting to learn about this illness.
It is very interesting to learn about this serious illness. People should really take the time to read of this illness. It is like many other illnesses. it is either overlooked and many times it goes untreated until ther is a serious accident that could lead to injury, suicide or many other tragic accidents. Some may look at this illness as the person is "crazy." Not true there are many people that suffer from this illness are brilliant. It is sad to see anyone go through this pain and suffering and still on the other hand can so intelligent. This is a true that we can't have everything and we should be thankful for what we do have. Even if it is just a little. Nancy McKeon played this part to a T.
