Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde (2003)
Animal rights? Really?!
Yeah, sure, advocate for animal rights, but then eating hot dogs, talking about leather... are they aware that cows are animals, too or doesn't animal suffering matter as long as we don't have to see it? Or are cows sevond grade materials? A movie that had the potential to be really cheesy, but still inspiring, was just disappointing. This is exactly the two class system we are using for animals. If we would treat humans that way there would be an outcry. And even if the movie does propose quite some good positions (e.g the dogs being gay and them accepting it), it should have made a check if they are in alignment with those views or not.
Our Girl (2013)
No strong female character without a love story
The first series was kind of interesting, seing her struggle in a men's world. The love story is absolutely unnecessary. Second series: first thing you see is her in a wedding dress (because a «real» women needs to marry and have children, right? That's her only goal in life?) and she cries because a guy doesn't want to marry her after all. That's when I stopped watching.
A Million Little Things (2018)
Interesting start, became a cheap soap opera
At the beginning it is a very interesting situation, but the further we move into the first season, the more it is a soap opera: who did sleep with whom and oh, let's add a little trauma here and a little one there but let's not make a stringent story, but just put everything randomly somewhere.
You Can't Take My Daughter (2020)
Makes not a lot of sense
She wants to keep a baby created in a rape because this makes her want to live again? Okay, why not. But the guy attacks her repeatedly and she does nothing against it - taking self defense courses, get at least a pepper spray, anything... nope, she is always surprised again when he is showing up as if this wasn't predictable.
And the cop who says to her she doesn't need a rape kit? As a lawyer she would definitively know better than that.
Bones (2005)
Missionary content
The main character is a scientist surrounded by christian people who try to convince her to believe in superstition things. That seems to be the main purpose od this series.
