The Sessions: Draymond Green (2022)
In the Head of Competitive Sports
First, they could not have picked a more interesting athlete than Draymond Green for the first episode. If you have ever played competitive sports or if you love basketball you will be hanging on every word. This is exactly the focus athletes need and maybe our country needs now. I look forward to the next episode. Thank you.
The Other Guys (2010)
Entertaining
Laugh out loud funny...Will and Mark's acting are apparent as well as their comedic timing. Michael Keaton and Eva Mendes were a surprise. More seriously watch the ending credits with the stats on corporate crime displayed!
The Great (2020)
A Beautifully Stunning Comedy Drama
The costumes, hair and makeup are absolutely stunning on all characters! Laugh out loud witty. Lots of sex and lots of swearing but done in a comedic non-offensive manner. Acting is superb. The first series started my being an Elle Fanning fan. The second, Nicholas Hoult. Hoping for a third season?
Hacksaw Ridge (2016)
ABSOLUTELY the BEST LOVE AND WAR MOVIE
I can't think of a movie more captivating than Hacksaw Ridge. Can't believe I waited this long to see it! What a ride of emotions. The cinematography is just WOW! Garfield must have won a bazillion awards for his acting. It's a love, war, friendship, family historical movie that I would hope everyone would see. My faith in humanity and my respect for our soldiers has been deepened and renewed.
Kate Plays Christine (2016)
Kate could be great
I found this documentary intriguing. Try to imagine what kind of pain someone must be feeling to do what Christine did! This documentary did not even come close to making me understand that and the WIG auck!!! This was more a documentary about bad wig making because it ruined every shot of the documentary.
NYC Epicenters 9/11-2021½ (2021)
Rollercoaster Ride
9/11 and NYC is the Epicenter of so many things going on before, during and after. Mr. Lee took us for a ride of the ups and downs of this era. Many thought provoking interviews. Stories told so you feel as if you are there. It acknowledged and solidified the trauma of the humans involved from in every aspect as survivor, victim, rescuer, griever, scientist and certainly first responder while incorporating the world's issues from outside NYC on 9/11. It peels away at how our government may have taken advantage of those circumstances. Being a government employee most of my career life this is the first time, after watching Mr. Lee's series that I must sadly question and acknowledge that our countries government did not have our best interest.
Mildred Pierce (2011)
If You Can Stomach Betrayal
All acting were intense and believable. The series could be a 9 star but the betrayal wins.
Notes on a Scandal (2006)
Judi and Cate and an Quite the Story
Love narrative movies. Stumbled onto this gem of a movie. Acting is SUPERB, the story riveting. Can't believe I haven't seen it before.
Defending Jacob (2020)
REVIEW HEADLINES HERE ARE SPOILERS!!!!!
Thanks a bunch. Not sure I even want to finish watching.
I'm Your Woman (2020)
A Precious Gem
This is the era I remember being a young woman in the 70's. So I thoroughly enjoyed this from beginning to end. Without knowing Rachel was also Miss Maisley, I thought, who is this actor!!?? She's excellent. All the actors are excellent. The story is excellent. I will be watching anything Rachel is in from now on.
