Grounded Science Fiction with a lot of heart
14 June 2022
Compelling performance by this young actress. I totally believed she was lost in this place of being treated like a kid by those who knew her before and not fitting in with the young people she was meeting now. So it made sense to me that she would want to connect with her former boyfriend even though he now "looks old".

Such an interesting concept and I liked how the filmmaker handled the ending. Very unique!!

This show is funny

The pilot is strong, the writing, direction, execution are all excellent. My favorite comedy to debut this fall season and surprised it is not getting more attention. I stumbled on it and glad I did! Love that it's a family show but even has a little bit of edgy humor. Really great fun characters and dialogue.

the IMDb says I need more words to review it, but I really don't. I laughed out loud at the pilot. I never laugh out loud at television except for Parks and Recreation.

Hope this starts to get a good audience and grow.

Very well done.

Kudos to these filmmakers

I hope everyone goes to their website and checks out the film. These guys are what independent film-making is about. They did SO much within their means AND the film is funny and melancholy, LOOKS BEAUTIFUL.

Strong performances throughout from smallest roles to the leads. Can't say enough about the cinematography and the direction is solid. The editing also VERY strong.

Funny dialogue in this slacker indie bromantic comedy.

I think the film is also significant because of the time and thought they put into their web content and site and their self distribution. It truly is worth it to see the film.

Beautiful, moving film

Just saw this film at the 2010 Santa Barbara Film Festival. It's really excellent, well made, very very moving meditation on death and grief.

Highly recommend. Great cast. Heavy, for sure, not for everybody if you aren't in the mood. But very well made. Ally Sheedy and Tovah Feldshuh are GREAT.

Jim Gaffigan was great in a smaller role as a gallery owner and added a nice touch to the casting. Jean Bressard was WONDERFUL as Alain. He and Emily Skinner shine with some wonderful chemistry. They were my favorite part of the film.

The cinematography was excellent. Shot on HD, looked amazing!
