An Entertaining Show
22 November 2008
This show is excellent entertainment suitable and aimed for kids. It pairs one of the most popular and greatest superheroes of all-time with some un-recognized (but good) B or even C level Superheroes that never get much attention. While I like Tim Burton's Batman, love Batman: The Animated Series and love Nolan's Batman, This is not dark, gritty, and doesn't have an amazing awe-inspiring story, but it's it not trying to. This is not the tragic, mob-boss/realistic villain fighting, detective Batman. This is a lighter but not ridiculous (Batman & Robin), superhero Batman. The animation is different than other prior DC Comics cartoon, but it's good, smooth animation.

So, If you want something dark, gritty, and thought provoking like The Dark Knight or Batman The Animated Series? Go watch TDK or TAS. This is entertainment, and some good entertainment at that. I would rather have good, pure entertainment than a failed attempt at another dark Batman.

Fanboys need get over it and stop being whiny baby-men. Remember, there's always that off button on the remote.

That's all I've got to say about that.

One of the greatest movies I have ever seen
18 July 2008
Wow. Where do I begin? I guess I'll start with the acting. Christian Bale was great as Bruce Wayne, and even better as Batman. Michael Caine was good, Maggie Gyllenhaal was good, Aaron Eckhart was wonderful as the tragic character of Harvey Dent, Morgan Freeman was great, and Heath Ledger was spectacular. The entire cast was just amazing. Christopher Nolan did an amazing job making this movie, and the story just blew my mind. They put so much into this movie, but none of it felt rushed or jammed in where it didn't belong. Everything worked. I am at a loss for words at how good this movie was. Yes, I am a Batman fan, but seeing this movie even from a non-Batman fan's point of view, it is still one of the best movies you will ever see in your life.

A good enjoyable movie. The best of the summer sequels so far!
25 June 2007
I'm a big fan of the comics, and was really looking forward to this, and I was not disappointed like I was with Spider-Man 3. This is a GIGANTIC step up from the first film. It's got everything, Action, Comedy, Drama, Romance, you name it! The acting is pretty good, Chris Evans does a great job as Johnny Storm and Michael Chiklis is perfect as the Thing. And the Silver Surfer, oh man was he awesome. He was the best part of the movie. He was spectacular! The effects were great and his story was great, and they have set it up for a possible solo film. I'm not going to give that many spoilers but, You do NOT see Galactus like he was in the comics (Though sometimes you see what appears to be the shape of his helmet), but I don't really think it was that big of a deal. They did a good job with it. They had some corny lines in this movie but it wasn't too bad. The first half of the movie is a little slow, but it gets better and better, the last half was great.

Lets put this simple: This movie was good. It was the perfect summer film. I cannot see how anyone could call this a terrible movie, most that are calling it horrible are just crazed fanboys that are NEVER pleased with anything. I loved it and it was worth the ticket to see it!
