Loved this series so much. It was so funny in a dark Irish way, well acted, so enjoyable, such a refreshing change to all the mundane boring series that have been on lately. This series is something completely different. We binged this over 2 days and we wished we had made it last longer. It has the lead actress out of Bodkin another great Irish series. If you live the the Irish sense of humour this is a show for you. I loved the beautiful scenery. What a great series I do hope there will be a second one as there is definitely more to work with. If you want to be entertained Obituary is for you!

I really enjoy Kevin Hart movies normally but this was dreadful. The first Die Hart was not good but this is another level bad. I'm not sure who the audience is aimed at but it's not funny, it's not clever, it's not for kids - there was no story it was just really bad and sometimes they repeat the same line that wasn't funny the first time over and over - are they hoping it will get funnier? It's like he got a bunch of friends together and they made a garbage movie for their own kicks. Sorry Kevin but this has to be your worst film ever. For me this has to be one of the worst films I have ever watched. Glad it was free. Not sure why I watched the whole thing.

Wow if I made this movie I would be embarrassed- I can't belive that it made it to the cinema. I love everything Ferrell he is a comedy genius. If it's a Ferrell movie I know I'm going to laugh for at least 1.5 hours but sadly not one laugh just shocked looks shared between my husband and I. I don't know what else to say if this was an annual student school play you'd feel sorry for your kids. Surely when they saw the daily takes they knew this one wasn't going to make it?

Don't believe all the negativity from these reviewers. No it's not an Oscar winning film far from it, it's just a a sweet little family film it's got no sex, no drugs just a nice story line that has a happy ending - the perfect film to watch as a family. Don't over analyse it, it is what it is.

I just read the books so they are so fresh in my mind and the series is different; examples characters are very different Ysabeau in the book although Matthew's mother was made a vampire when she was younger not an elderly woman like in the tv series. The story line is loosely based on the books but is also very different. I like the books better but the series on its own is enjoyable if I keep reminding myself it's just based on the book series it's not the same. Worth a watch

If your looking for light entertainment and an enjoyable easy to watch show look no further. No it's not serious dramatic acting, it's a little bit funny, it's a little bit tongue in cheek and it has me wanting more. MKe a season 2 and the people that don't want a season 2 some advise just don't watch it and let those who do enjoy the show!

I loved this show when it started the characters building the mystery of the first season etc but Season 2 became really negative and was glad when my 17 year old niece decided it was garbage and stopped watching. It's become very dark too dark for the original target audience. It's such a negative, horrid mix of drugs, suicide, violence. I like the Nancy Drewness meets modern edge of the first season. Season 2 was when the down fall started and now Season 3 is so negative, so violent, full of suicide, gross jail fights of high school students and ridiculousness if that stupid Dungeons and Dragons esk King - I'm out.
