Watching this movie with my kids was a blast. theyre over the moon watching people like them save the world because they know what yall forgot: kids are awesome. It was fun, funny, clever, and just a good time to watch. like watching a cool, funny video game. adults get so out of touch with their own childhoods. yes, its corny, yes, its predicitable, but that's precisely what kids enjoy. the whole lot of you need to get over yourselves and enjoy this movie for what it is: an awesome kids movie.

Way better than expected.

I expected Dora the Explorer, but I got much more. A movie for all ages, humor for adults, adventure, plot twists. Its sweet, funny, and well made with a dedicated cast willing to do embarrassing things without shame with the message that learning and appreciating cultures is more important than exploiting them for potential wealth. My kids(and I) learned a lot and enjoyed it as well.

Strange how so many adults are violently opposed to teaching their kids to care about the environment but wow, here we are. I also hate to break it to you guys, but the Lorax book itself has political overtones and it always has. Take a deep breath and remember that its a children's movie. Fun and funny, my kids loved it and want to help me plant new trees in our yard.

Seems like 90% of the reviews are from older siblings (brothers 🙄) pretentiously whining about a movie made for 15 year old girls being immature and ridiculous. Which most 15 year old girls are. The intended audience was girls my age who all loved this ridiculous movie. Its simple and funny and overall good, especially if you're a 15 year old girl.
