Avenue 5 (2020)
Set your phasers to FUN!
I adore this show. It's hilarious and I waited 2 years for season 2 and it has not disappointed. The Cannibal concept is inventive. All the characters have reasons to love them and also hate them. I belly laugh at the dry humor and I have my fingers and toes crossed for another season! The absolute self indulgence in the story and the characters is a brilliant idea. Billie ( Being Human BBC) and Rav are my favorite! Hugh is just the cherry on top and everyone else is the whipped cream that makes the whole sundae work on every level possible. Season 2 I did not like the media girl though - please no more of her.
Army of Thieves (2021)
A fun and sleek film with Dieter screams!!
This film actually makes Army Of The Dead wayyy better!!! Sébastien (Dieter) is beyond adorable and the film was not centered around zombies but rather plays in the background. It also has badass female characters that don't feel forced down our throats! Brad Cage is definitely going to be cast as the Wolverine eventually as he is Hugh Jackmans younger doppelganger. It was sort of like a National Treasure film that had a baby with the Point Break movie who sorta resembles The Hitmans Bodyguard.
Resident Alien (2021)
Chung Chung!!!
Absolutely brilliant. Alan Tudyk has been one of my favorite actors since I saw him in 28 days and Death at a Funeral. This show is everything I needed. Aliens, comedy, drama, romance and a damn good story. Watching Harry try to navigate his new emotions on this planet is how many of us suffering with anxiety feel every day! A must watch!!!!
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021)
Absolutely fantastic!!!!
From the first few minutes you can already sense the tone of the show. Mackey and Sébastien have amazing chemistry! I like them dealing with the fall out of all the events that have taken place and leave no uncomfortable conversation left out.
Human Hibachi (2020)
A new experience
Original, entertaining and skin crawl worthy! Definitely a must watch for any horror/gore fan out there.
Amy Schumer: Growing (2019)
I laughed alot. Relatable
Amy Schumers comedy has never been my favorite but this special was funny. Alot more substance than previous concerts.
