Amazing...

Warning: Spoilers
I first watched this during a Cineworld secret screening. I originally rated it an 8. I've since changed it to a 9. Why? It's got everything you want in a movie; emotion, humour, a decent story line.

When you watch this film it is heartbreakingly accurate. You laugh when you need to laugh and feel sadness and shock when needed. I absolutely love this film.

Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali are outstanding. They play the characters so well. I literally fell in love with their friendship and connection.

Its truly one of the best films I have watched and I could easily recommend it without embarrassment or guilt because I could watch it over and if you again.

Love love love. It deserved all its awards.

Don't believe the negative reviews

I was very touched by this movie. I am not religious myself but I found it very moving. In fact I welled up during a lot of moments during the film. Give it a chance. It's good viewing.

Better than other reviews say.

I went to see this despite the poor rating it has. In my opinion it deserves more than a 2.9 rating. People need to stop comparing it to the original film because it's not the original film it is it's own version. I found it very moving and touching. Although a bit cheesy at times and occasionally poor acting from supporting cast (the main character with Alzheimer's very good), I enjoyed it and glad I went to see it. Insight into what Alzheimer's is like and important factual information learnt whilst watching movie.
