First there was Frost; a Britisher, interviewing Nixon........ The there was Hopkins attempting to portray Nixon......!!?? I recommend the British interview the people who knew and Portray Neville Chamberlain....... a Liberal British Politician who supposedly got a "Peace In Our time Agreement" with Adolf Hitler......!! Let Anthony Hopkins play Neville Chamberlain....if he's so good.....!!??

I never watch these movies because I was a Nixon Supporter and Voted for him twice....... and I have Never Believed he order the Break-in......!! G. Liddy said somebody else in the WH ordered it...so they could recover a file of call-girls the Dems used......in the NDC's Desk....... because he was going to marry one of them and wanted to bury the evidence of her being a call-girl....... That's what I believe.....!!

Nixon got the US out of Johnson's Vietnam War and got 2/3rds of our POW/MIAs back out of North Vietnam. That covers a Lot of Sins...........!! Nixon should never have been Impeached as he was an effective President. The Frost interview was years later; when Nixon needed some money....... so; essentially, he was paid to say whatever Frost wanted. If Frost wanted to do a good interview........ he should interview the people who knew Neville Chamberlain......the LIberal who negotiated "Peace In Our time" with Adolf Hitler....before Adolf started World War II.....!!?? Langella was MIss-cast in this Movie and Sheen has done nothing else worthwhile since......

A Boring movie created; I imagine, because Hanks and other people Needed a Paycheck at the time. A man's plane crashes into the Pacific. He washes up on an island and is marooned there. He paints a soccer ball; he found in a Spaulding box; with a Face so he will have something to talk to....... But I think this part is ridiculous and wouldn't have been done in real life. a person would more likely have found some way to play ball with the ball......like Steve McQueen in the cooler with the baseball in the great escape.

Joe Versus the Volcano is a much better film. This one is a waste of time.

According to wiki; this script Failed Twice as a Play........!? Then somebody decided that that was a Good Idea to make into a Movie......?? Bad Idea........!! Nobody liked the movie at the time...... so Finally the Depressing thing was sent to Vietnam to show to the troops.......!! The last thing anybody needed to see was a Depressing movie of Nothing but Talk, Talk, Talk,,,,,,!!?? Most GIs kept waiting for Burton to really nail Taylor in the Bedroom....... But at the end of the movie.....Taylor gives an hour long speech to Burton on the Balcony....then goes into the Bedroom......you think you are going to get Lucky....Bur then Burton gives an hour long monologue to himself on the Balcony.... Finally he goes into the Bedroom and you think you are going to see some great action between them....... But Burton finds out that she has Died meanwhile in the Bed......!? The only reason for troops to suffer thru this at the time....was because the small movie theater was the only air-conditioned room on the Base....!! Makes you wish the movie would have been captured by the North Vietnamese Regulars.....!!

I liked this movie; when I saw it free on TV. A movie is supposed to be entertaining and this one was.! Reportedly made for $100 million...but only grossed something like $8 Million...!? But if Murphy managed to get $90 million of it....it was a success in his book; HA! Famous for the scene where mobsters try to buy Murphy's club on the moon with $10 million Dollars with Hillary on the Bills as a President....and there is a scene with a Self-Driving car driving past a Donald Trump realty Billboard....."If you lived here; you'd be Home Now"! Shows the use of Robots in the Future....who wouldn't like a Robot Bodyguard.....!! Also; somewhat predicting the future as many countries are now racding back to the moon.......Russia, China, the US, and others..... All planning to build bases of some form or other....!!

After the Virginal Girl and Boy smoke the Radiated Cigarette; she disappears upstairs..... He goes upstairs to find her...... She says "I want Your Joint....!!" He says "I Don't Have It Anymore....I threw It Away.......!!" Then she says the Best Line in Any Move Ever....... "Not That Joint.......The One In Your Pants......!!"

A Campy Funny Movie with over the top characters....... It gets a 10 Just for That Line.......!!

Actually Tracey is the Victim here......!! Without a Father ; she tries everything to get ahead......! She works closely with the teachers who can help her succeed..... Her previous Teacher then groomed her to be his underage sex partner....... which she did to get his help to get ahead........ Then she runs for Election.....!! Matthew Broderick; supposedly a great teacher, we see has a trunk full of underage girlie videos in his basement. The other teacher tells him how Tracey was "available". Tracey knows that if she gets elected she'll be working closely with Broderick probably after school and she will offer herself to him to get his help to get ahead......!! Broderick realizes he won't be able to resist taking Tracey to bed ; if she wins the election, so he sabotages the vote; because he won't be able to stop himself from bedding her; if she wins......!? The result is that Broderick has to be fired for sabotaging the election.....but actually because he can't control himself from possible taking advantage of the underage girl........!! He ends up working in New York. Tracey; meanwhile is still trying to get ahead; the only way she knows how , from the high school teachers, by making herself available as an aid to congressman. Broderick throwing the drink at her car; is merely acting up because he knows he might have bedded her if she had won the election and he hadn't been fired yet. He also demonstrates unfaithfulness to his wife and former teacher friend; by making love to the guy's former wife....... So it is Broderick who is actually the bad guy in the movie......!!

A Great Movie. Actually a 10......! But I give it a 9 because I feel that the character played by Josh Brolin should have survived......!! It would have made some Great kind of 2nd movie.....somehow......!! The Sheriff is somewhat of a disappointment as they don't catch anybody; but merely pick up bodies.....!! Josh shoots a Bighorn; but it doesn't go down right away.....so he has to track it....! He finds the blood trail of a wounded dog and backtracks that to where there was a gigantic shootout between drug gangs for some reason........Most guys are dead..... Then he goes to track the last man standing........and finds him....... Brolin is the kind of Outdoorsman you would like to meet or talk to....!!

Called on the Phone by Rose.....Charley walks into the El Royale Motel; to the Tune of "Young Girls Are Coming to the Canyon" His Followers put Knives to the throats of all the Guests and Tie Them Up........ He proceeds to start to waste them; starting with Emily for stealing Rose away from him......!!

Shows what happens when you let a Cult mess with your mind......

An Excellent Depiction of the D-Day Landing for the Troops. However; later there is an anomaly in the logic........ The Captain's orders are to retrieve Private Ryan and return him to the rear; in order to save his life, as all his other brothers have been killed in Combat. This the Captain achieves; but it is more a matter of luck as Ryan survives on his own....!! When the Captain takes his Squad on the Mission; and they come across a German Radar installation; he insists on attacking it, instead of going around it.as some of his men suggest. Attacking it is inconsistent with his orders to retrieve Private Ryan. In so doing the Captain loses one of his men; and could have lost more. Later; when he finds Private Ryan; he allows the Private to insist they stay and defend the town from a German attack. This is also inconsistent with his orders. If he had survived the attack and Private Ryan had been killed; then the Captain would have been Court Martialed for a Failure to Obey Orders....!!

I watched this only for the Beautiful and Cute Sophie Marceau after stumbling on the movie online. She acts Excellently in the movie; I think. I wonder about the name Clelia....?? Is this a European or French name....?? I keep wanting to call her Celia throughout...!? Anyway Clelia is Loyal to her husband throughout despite being attracted to a young photographer. In the end she is Fired from the magazine and her husband kicks her out based on his suspicions of infidelity. However; in the time frame of the film; I think he doesn't have time to Divorce her and/or write her out of his will; so at the end when he accidentally falls down the stairs and kills himself; She would inherit his house and grounds and his percentage of the Magazine company,,,,25%...?? Also; since Clelia's mother basically confirms that the magazine's owner was her real father....Mac Roi ( which could be confirmed by a DNA test ); she would inherit a percentage of the magazine from her father ,,,,another 25%?? So they could hardly fire her....but would have to have her as one of the owner's and/or buy her out. So the ending; with her in some kind of Nunnery or Monastery is in error; I think. Being a guy; I also liked the fact that when her husband chased her down the street; basically proposing to her, by saying he liked kids and wanted to have some. She went with him to see where he worked and all.....Call me a Romantic. A nice Film for Sophie Marceau.....!!
