Finding Normal (2013)
Another almost brilliant Hallmark movie ruined by ramming God down our throats
This should be a superb TV movie with CCB doing her stuff as well as she always does. And it almost is......... But instead it is barely mediocre cos Hallmark choose to make it a virtually Christian movie.
We come to movies to escape our considered deficiencies and the questions we ask ourselves, not be made to feel guilty. When will film makers and particularly Hallmark learn that gentle references and occasional nods work far better than proclamations and throat ramming?
For goodness sake Hallmark, make romantic movies without the guilt trip. Than you'll perform. I always come to you with a bottle of wine and hope and end up angry and disappointed at what could have been and what you oh so nearly achieved.
CCB, don't fall foul of this anymore. I find it verging on the pathetic.

Finding Grace (2019)
Could have been brilliant. Ended up just ok. God squad ruined it.
Ah. As with all Christian faith based films. You don't need to include pointless goddy bits. Let the faith of the film makers and the quality of the film stand alone and demonstrate your faith. As you should your lives.
I was enjoying it until the church scene and after that I knew I couldn't give it more than a C rating. Without it I would have given it a B. Without all the other faith references, it would have been an A.
Worth a watch but almost turned it off numeroud times when the goddy bits were shoehorned in. So pointless and such a shame, especially the end. It was ruined.

Round of Your Life (2019)
Reasonable film ruined by the clumsy Christian premise
I genuinely started to enjoy this film until the female track athlete clumsily shoehorned in the FCA. Then it was always overshadowed and ruined by the faith based overtones. It could have been a genuinely good film, but ended up being thoroughly up it's own backside. Please remake this with a bigger budget and remove completely the Christian overtones. A good Chrstsian film doesn't even need to mention Christianity, it's implication is far more powerful than actually mentioning it. (think Steve Taylor....). All Christian faith based films are like this. They genuinely turn people away from Christianity. Learn fro this.
