An ode to nature.

Do not expect to watch a "real" film or something. This is a cinematic piece of art about environment. A masterpiece that everyone out there should watch immediately in 2021. We have to protect our planet and redefine our needs.

Such a worth watching documentary!

Melancholic, nostalgic, meaningful...yet disturbing! A real roller coaster of emotions. Great cinematography, superb directing and amazing acting. No need to talk about the storyline, this film is so worth watching.

Wonderful work from Chloé Zhao. Modern cinema at its finest.

Warning: Spoilers
Quite good in the beginning but totally predictable..The last episodes were too boring and the whole plot was stuck at a certain point..the loss of the baby...too many clichés on the storyline! Although, nice styling and photography!

Many clichés, although hidden gem!

I really liked this movie, beautiful storyline and directing. In spite of the fact that there are many clichés, it is worth watching. Two parallel love stories with different timing and under different circumstances have a bad ending in common. It turns out that the Holocaust survivor is the interface between past and present. Very good cinematography and acting with a contemporary Italian background. Give this film a try, you won't regret it.

Contemporary Inferno

In spite of the fact that I didn't enjoy this film as much as I was expecting to, I have to admit that the cinematography is incredible! The contrast of the colors and the way the camera was moving made me think of the Ancient Greek literature, especially Plato's symposium. I didn't like the storyline, although the atmosphere feels like a cathode to Hades. Don't expect to watch just a dance movie, this is literally a climax of emotions. Not the best Noe's work but his film detecting is a piece of art.

Totally predictable!!

Why do all films have this FSOG kind of thing? I haven't read the book but the film's plot (script) is poor. I didn't like the acting either, no chemistry between the main characters. I really don't get the high rating..Nice try but quite boring...4 stars go to Italian literature. I only appreciated the good taste in music (Mozart's music background in some scenes) and Dante's poetry. I think they wanted to create something similar to Dante's "Inferno", that's why the title, but this movie is nothing but based on the contrast of rich/rude professor-poor/kind student. It's miles away from the love story of Dante and Beatrice. Anyway, nice shots in the library and medium shots to the old books.
