Down in the Mouth
Down in the Mouth is a 16mm narrative short film that takes an absurdist look at cosmetic surgery. Written, directed and edited by Kirby Ward, the film tells the story of Ron Dibble, a man born without a uvula - and though most people would say it's a small matter, Ron is paralyzed by feelings of inadequacy. How will he ever win the affections of the girl of his dreams if he doesn't do something about his shortcoming? The film has been included in four film festivals, winning Best Short Film at the Kent Film Festival in Kent, CT.
