Popular medical drama House has just been added to Hulu on Tuesday (November 7)!
The eight-season Fox series centered on Dr. Gregory House, who is devoid of anything resembling bedside manner and wouldn’t even talk to his patients if he could get away with it. Dealing with his own constant physical pain, he uses a cane that seems to punctuate his acerbic, brutally honest demeanor.
While his behavior can border on antisocial, House is a brilliant diagnostician whose unconventional thinking and flawless instincts afford him widespread respect. An infectious disease specialist, House thrives on the challenge of solving medical puzzles in order to save lives.
The series featured quite the cast over the course of it’s run: Hugh Laurie, Robert Sean Leonard, Omar Epps, Jesse Spencer, Lisa Edelstein, Jennifer Morrison, Peter Jacobson, Olivia Wilde, Kal Penn, Amber Tamblyn, Odette Annable and Charlyne Yi.

This Star Wars: Ahsoka review contains spoilers.
Ahsoka Episodes 1 and 2
Since its announcement, Ahsoka has had fans of The Clone Wars and Rebels in a frenzy awaiting the return of the Ghost Crew to the small screen in vivid live action. Is the show a worthy continuation of Ahsoka’s saga? And does it cater to those unfamiliar with this particular corner of the Star Wars universe?
Judging from the two-episode premiere of the Disney+ series, the answers are two emphatic yeses. There’s no disconnect between the live-action characters and their animated counterparts, and while Dave Filoni and company take care to preserve the continuity between the show and its predecessors, there’s more than enough here between the writing and the performances for newcomers to get a good idea of who these people are.

Science fiction television is one of the hardest genres to master in the industry. Sci-fi that focuses on alien invasions is even more difficult because of the intense scrutiny from the audience who has a specific vision for what it would look like in the real world. When a great sci-fi show is released, it’s often too expensive to survive or doesn’t receive the patience it deserves.
USA Network’s Colony fits a lot of these descriptions. Starring longtime genre TV actors Josh Holloway (Lost) and Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead), the show was a great look into the life of a family just trying to survive the aftermath of an invasion by aliens we never really learn fully about. This is because the show was intended to go five seasons by its creator, House of the Dragon showrunner Ryan J. Condal. It was unfortunately canceled after only three.

(This article contains spoilers for the season 6 finale of “Fear the Walking Dead.”)
Now that is follow-through.
I’m not sure many people expected actually expected much of anything would happen with the nuke when we learned that Teddy’s doomsday cult wanted to blow everybody on “Fear the Walking Dead” up. Obviously, it’s a pretty exciting threat to have to deal with, but come on. Did you really think a nuke would go off on this show?
Regardless of our expectations, they did it. They really did it. "There is no way that this low life's getting into Heaven whilst I'm stuck here." Uncork'd Ent. has released an official trailer for an indie horror comedy called Limbo, the latest from indie filmmaker Mark Young. The high concept, low budget film is about a murderer who dies and finds himself on trial in Hell, caught between a bitter prosecutor and an inexperienced defense attorney. The entire setup is based around being in "limbo" with a colorful cast of characters. James Purefoy stars a Lucifer, with Lucian Charles Collier as Balthazar, plus Veronica Cartwright, Rebekah Kennedy, Scottie Thompson, Peter Jacobson, Lauryn Canny, Richard Riehle, and Lew Temple. This look that bad, but doesn't look that good either. Here's the first official trailer (+ new poster) for Mark Young's Limbo, direct from YouTube: A murderer named Jimmy (Lew Temple) finds himself on trial in Hell, caught between a bitter prosecutor and an inexperienced defense attorney.

Former House doctor Olivia Wilde is bringing together some of the biggest names in fake medicine to pay tribute to the actual hospital workers on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
“The closest… I’ve ever come to being a doctor is putting on a costume,” the actress formerly known as Thirteen notes at the start of the epic mashup, before adding tongue-in-cheek, “And while it is close, it is not quite the same. I just want to say thank you to all the real healthcare heroes out there.”

This week on NCIS: Los Angeles, as Callen and Sam raced to Egypt to get a bead on kidnapped colleague Fatima Namazi, they required an assist from Vostanik Sabatino. For loyal viewers of the CBS procedural, the moment was loaded with highly entertaining meaning, given the team’s previous interactions with the CIA officer (played by ER alum Erik Palladino).
The previous episode similarly brought back Bar Paly as the always enigmatic Anna Kolcheck — another reliable player that is intermittently called off of NCIS: La‘s deep, well-established bench.

Genre television is our favorite, so it's no surprise that we wound up with two different lists! If your favorite genre show didn't appear on one or the other, it might be upcoming on the decade's best shows list!
Please remember that with have almost two dozen favorites lists that we couldn't showcase every show on every list, so we parsed them out a bit to make it more fun.
And these lists are not in any particular order. They're in the order the entries were received by TV Fanatic staff, so don't read into them!

Fear the Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 12
Here we are, midway through the back half of Season 5, and yet Fear the Walking Dead feels as aimless as ever. It makes me sad to contemplate what’s become of this underdog show I used to love, once upon a time. We didn’t know how good we had it, back in the Dave Erickson days. Fear’s first three seasons were far from perfect, and yet they had a darker, more subversive tone that the series has been lacking since Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg took the creative reins in Season 4. The original cast was largely gutted as Fear seemingly devoured itself from the inside out, leaving behind a hollow...

I think there’s a shift in female comics, and the way they tell stories, that include things they’re passionate about — whether it’s sexual orientation or health or relationships. I think as women, we’re starting to develop our own style and not just be like the men. That’s what I aspire to be.”
Drescher’s decades-long resume contains many fascinating roles — writer, actress, sitcom star, diplomat, activist — and now, stand-up comedian, a pursuit that’s technically new to her.
So she’s looking to the modern state of the format, as pioneered by comics like Hannah Gatsby. A woman...

What an odd little episode!
Polite bank robbers led the squad to a seemingly corrupt Navy contractor on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 10 Episode 10.
But nothing was as it seemed.
Except for Rogers. He was still pretty much a dick.
The revolving door of adult supervision kept spinning, and this time it spit out the special prosecutor we all thought was gone. But I suppose you don't hire Peter Jacobson for a one-off.
And Rogers frankly was ... almost tolerable.
Related: NCIS: Los Angeles Season 10 Episode 9 Review: A Diamond in the Rough
The team just figured out how to work around him, most by avoiding him in Hetty's many hideyholes but also sometimes by either ignoring or bullshitting him.
It was mean of Nell to sacrifice her socially awkward boyfriend leaving Eric to entertain Rogers, who he already feared because you can always bet on Eric to blurt out exactly the wrong thing when he's nervous.

The Walking Dead's little zombie brother is starting to walk on its own. Fear the Walking Dead season 5 is now underway on AMC.
It's been a tumultuous year for Fear the Walking Dead. This season saw the arrival of Morgan Jones (played by Lennie James) from The Walking Dead universe's flagship show. The show then made numerous other high profile additions to the cast, including Garret Dillahunt, Maggie Grace, and Jenna Elfman.
To thin out the crowd after all the new arrivals, Fear the Walking Dead killed two main characters who had been around since day one: Madison (Kim Dickens) and Nick (Frank Dillane). The violent, unpredictable world of the zombie apocalypse in The Walking Dead has always meant that the shows...

Actress Fran Drescher still remembers the moment she came up with the concept for The Nanny. She was in London visiting Twiggy, her former co-star in the short-lived 1991 sitcom Princesses, and "in a very proper accent, Twiggy’s daughter said, 'Oh, Fran, my new shoes are hurting me,'" the star told Closer during her recent visit to Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family. "I said, 'Oh, honey, step on the backs of them. It breaks them in.'" The contrast between a streetsmart girl from Queens, NY, and a stiff-upper-lip Brit inspired Fran’s relationship with Mr. Sheffield (Charles Shaughnessy) on The Nanny. While in London, the actress called her then-husband, producer Peter Jacobson, and said, "What do you think about a spin on The Sound of Music, only instead of Julie Andrews, I come to the door?" Fran, 60, remembers. "In a heartbeat, he said, 'That’s it!'" (Photo Credit: Getty Images) CBS agreed,...

If a cable drama does something daring in the forest, but no one’s watching, is it still great TV? This is the challenge presented by “Colony,” the USA drama about life under alien rule that debuts its third season Wednesday evening.
It’s also a show not a whole lot of people seem to be watching, which is understandable, as “Colony” legitimately rivals “The Handmaid’s Tale” for bleakness.
In Season 3, we’re still following the Bowman family. But instead of the jarring disconnect between sunny Los Angeles and the harsh rule of the occupying government, the Bowmans have fled outside the city limits, with former Proxy Governor Alan Snyder (Peter Jacobson) along for the ride.
From the very first shots of the Bowmans’ forest refuge, it’s pretty clear that the production relocated to Vancouver for this season, and the grey raininess permeates not just the screen, but...

Colony is building out its recurring cast adding Gotham‘s Peyton List, Wayne Brady (Whose Line Is It Anyway?) Graham McTavish (Preacher) and Waleed Zuaiter (Altered Carbon) to the upcoming third season of the USA drama series.
List will play Amy Leonard, a doctor and member of the San Fernando cell, who embarks on a dangerous journey with Eric Broussard (Tory Kittles) to deliver valuable secrets to Resistance fighters combating the Occupation.
Brady will portray Everett Kynes, a highly successful tech entrepreneur who has risen in this new world to become the head of the rebuilt Seattle Colony. Kynes’ technology was used – and misused – by the human collaborators before the Arrival, leaving him with a chip on his shoulder… and a unique relationship with the invaders. Kynes is both brilliant and has a messianic belief in his own vision for the future.

"You want to fire me? Try it." HBO has released an official trailer for the real-world film Paterno, telling the story of football coach Joe Paterno, played by Al Pacino. While this will be airing directly on HBO, it is still a feature film, and it is the latest feature made by talented filmmaker Barry Levinson (who last made The Wizard of Lies also for HBO). Paterno centers on Penn State's Joe Paterno in the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal. After becoming the winningest coach in college football history, his legacy is challenged and he is forced to face questions of institutional failure. The full cast includes Riley Keough, Annie Parisse, Kathy Baker, Greg Grunberg, Peter Jacobson, Tess Frazer, Faith Logan, Darren Goldstein, Midori Francis, and Benjamin Cook. Pacino looks fully deep into this role, should be good. Here's the official trailer (+ teaser) for Barry Levinson's Paterno movie,...

USA doomsday thriller Colony has some chilling parallels to real-life events coming in season three, revealed at San Diego Comic-Con yesterday. Los Angeles is left in the dust according to actor Peter Jacobson, whose clever character Proxy Snyder is one of the show’s most watchable opportunists. Also, Sarah Wayne Callies noted the themes of resistance resonated with current events. In a live interview with clevvernews.com, Jacobson said: “We leave Los Angeles in a big way, and we’re in a different place and it’s a scary, crazy, nutty place. That’s all… I really I’m not at liberty to say anything else...read more...

Never mind what Season 3 of Colony is actually about — Sarah Wayne Callies merely hopes that Katie Bowman makes it out alive.
After all, the Prison Break and Walking Dead alum reminded Michael Ausiello during the USA Network drama’s visit to TVLine’s Comic-Con interview suite, “I’ve never survived the third season of a television show. Nope, not once.” (Prison Break‘s decapitated Dr. Sara Tancredi wasn’t “resurrected” until Season 4, remember.)

Whether you side with the Occupation or the Resistance, you can rejoice with the news that the USA Network has renewed Colony for a third season.
Multiple outlets, including THR, report that a 13-episode third season of Colony will premiere sometime in 2018 (the first two seasons had January premieres). Created by Carlton Cuse and Ryan J. Condal, the series takes place in a Los Angeles under siege by enigmatic aliens known as "Hosts." While the Hosts and their drones employ murderous methods to keep people in line, it's the humans that work for them that can be the most brutal. The second season finale of the series airs this Thursday, April 6th on USA.
Featuring a potent blend of family drama, political chess moves, and expertly choreographed action scenes (the show's long-take firefights are intensely realistic and marvelously shot) against the backdrop of an intriguing sci-fi mystery, Colony continues to...

Colony fans can watch the finale with the assurance the fight will continue!
USA Network renewed the sci-fi series ahead of the Colony Season 2 finale this coming Thursday.
The series not only features aliens and action but addresses the moral dilemmas that arise during times of political dissonance.
The series stars Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies and has been among the top cable dramas on Thursdays.
The third season will again consist of 13 episodes.
"Colony continues to fire on all cylinders creatively, with Carlton, Ryan and our incredible cast and crew striking a deep chord around the themes of humanity, survival and family," said Chris McCumber, president of entertainment networks at NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.
"Along with our partners Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for our heroes next season."
Colony could be compared to some of the greatest shows airing on television.

There were some tense moments on Colony Season 2 Episode 10, but for the most part, it was easy to determine their outcome.
Even so, we're dealing with situations that are building to what is sure to be a mind-blowing finale, and I'm getting antsy for renewal news.
By the end of "The Garden of Beasts" I could only imagine Maddie wondering if she chose the right side of her family for security, as well as the "where did we go wrong" thoughts running through Will and Katie's minds in regard to Bram.
Maddie's life has taken quite the dire turn.
Considering the way she took over the life her former boss and Nolan's wife once had, Maddie, of all people, should know how easy it is to lose everything in a New York Minute.
Even after watching herself float in whatever that magical Greatest Day box reveals to those who pluck it up off the table,...
