- (1966) Unsold pilot: Produced an adventure pilot called "One-Eyed Jacks Are Wild" starring George Grizzard as an American who is asked to impersonate a murdered European monarch because of their uncanny resemblance.
- (1966) Directed the (now) famous original makeup test film for Planet of the Apes (1968). The test was written by Rod Serling and starred Charlton Heston as astronaut Thomas and Edward G. Robinson as Dr. Zaius.

- (October 23, 1961) He directed Loring Mandel's play, "Advise and Consent," at the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio with Farley Granger, Chester Morris, Royal Beal, Russell Gaige, House Jameson, Atwood Levensalger, Betty Rollin, Archie Smith, Kay Doubleday, Grant Code, Harry Millard, and Van Ackerman in the cast. Rouben Ter-Arutunian was set designer. John Boxer was costume designer. Robert Fryer and Lawrence Carr were producers.
