In addition to acting, Steinmetz coaches high school football. His
team, the Venice Gondoliers, made it to the City Championship in 2003
where they played in front of an audience of 40,000 at the L.A.
Coliseum.
Graduated from high school in Seattle, Washington and played pro-soccer
for the Portland Timbers in the NASL.
Hosted the Miss World Pageant for four consecutive years. In 1994 and
1995 the pageant took place in South Africa. In 1996 the show took
place in India and in 1997 he hosted the pageant in the Seychelles
Islands. Additionally, in 1993 he hosted the New Years celebration for
the continent of Africa from Sun City, South Africa.
Foster father of three sons, Trevor, Troy and Jr.
His father was a policeman on the South-side of Chicago.
