When American Idol winner Trent Harmon isn't busy making his own music, he's lending his voice to fun projects like movie soundtracks!
Harmon recently recorded a bonus track for the digital version of the Ice Age: Collision Course soundtrack and People has your exclusive first listen of the song: a cover of Gary Wright's hit "Dream Weaver."
"Working with the producer of the song, Ross Copperman, was super fun," Harmon tells People. "We listened to the original 'Dream Weaver' a couple of times, but didn't want to over listen to it – so we left room for our own creativity.

Music and Sex: Scenes from a life - A novel in progress by Roman AkLeff (first installment can be read here; second here; third here; fourth here).
Other opportunities to interact with women included the marching band. It wasn't much of a band, but that didn't bother Walter. That meant it didn't take up much of his time. With the occasional exception, the same songs were played at every football game, so one rehearsal per week sufficed. In high school he'd been the third or fourth best trombonist, but here there was just one other trombonist, and they were on par with each other. If Walter felt like skipping rehearsal one week, nobody cared, since the music was easy and he could sight-read it adequately.
Nor did he have to practice marching formations, because they really didn't bother with that. Their formations were a sort of rebellion, illustrations synced to...

Review Louisa Mellor 11 Nov 2013 - 17:04
A church bazaar, new love interests, a death, and much, much more went down in Downton Abbey’s extended series four finale…
This review contains spoilers.
I don’t think Downton Abbey wanted to go. The series four finale seemed loath to say goodbye, returning ad-break after ad-break to dish out a bit more plot and then a bit more, like a toddler slowly and solemnly distributing Lego to a group of tolerant but bemused adults. Its never-ending story took in two secret missions, five budding romances, three marriage proposals, and quite possibly, a murder.
The big news was that rapist Green is no more, him having gone the way of a used chip paper and ended up wrapped around the wheel arch of a Piccadilly bus. Did Green fall or did Bates push him is the question Downton wants us to spend between now and Christmas pondering.

Rock guitarist Ronnie Montrose, who played on recordings from a wide variety of rock artists over a 40-year career, died on Saturday at age 64 after a long battle with prostate cancer.
A tribute posted on his official website read, "A few months ago, we held a surprise party for Ronnie Montrose's 64th birthday. He gave an impromptu speech, and told us that after a long life, filled with joy and hardship, he didn't take any of our love for granted. He passed today. He'd battled cancer, and staved off old age for long enough. And true to form, he chose his own exit the way he chose his own life. We miss him already, but we're glad to have shared with him while we could."

Some of the best concerts result from last-minute ticket purchases, and Wednesday night's performance by Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band at Radio City was no exception. The 2010 All-Starr Band is comprised of Richard Page of Mr. Mister, Rick Derringer of the McCoys, Edgar Winter of White Trash, Gary Wright of Spooky Tooth, and Wally Palmer of The Romantics, all of whom are legends in their own rights. The concert began with Ringo's solo hit, "It Don't Come Easy." Over the course of the next two hours, the All-Starrs each played their two biggest hits, interspersed with solo and Beatles hits from Ringo. Derringer's unmatched guitar skills were showcased by his delivery of "Hang On Sloopy," which was one of the best songs of the night, and one of the few songs to top a Beatles song on the...

Before becoming a full-time photographer, he worked mainly as a commercial actor and print model, originally in New York and later in L.A. The Inspirational Song choices are available on iTunes, so we thought we'd offer some suggestions for the "American Idol" Top 7.
We will admit that the song list is rather weird -- some of the songs don't exactly strike us as "inspirational," plus you have to automatically discount certain songs. For example...
The Idols should probably steer clear of the other Idol songs. Like "A Moment Like This" is the No. 1 Kelly Clarkson "Idol" moment, so we're not sure they should try that one. Doing other Idol hits is just a little too meta. We'd call that a big no-no.
Then there are the over-played barf-worthy songs like "Greatest Love of All" and "That's What Friends Are For." We'd advise steering clear of those too, especially since "Greatest Love" should just be retired after Cordelia Chase did it for the "Buffy" talent show. Then there are a few duets on the list,...

I remember being seven years old, sitting in the movie theater and watching the very first trailer for the original Toy Story. I was in awe. So it’s no real surprise that, in my twenties, I’m still just as awed and excited for all the footage I see for the third installment of the Toy Story franchise. So far we’ve seen a few trailers, gotten a glimpse at some new characters, and more. You’re in luck, because today we have a brand-new clip of Toy Story 3 for you to enjoy.
In this short-but-great clip, we meet the infamous Ken (played by Michael Keaton), and watch as he and Barbie (Jodi Benson) fall in love at first sight. And what better way to fall in love than to Gary Wright’s “Dream Weaver”? Ken also gives Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the toy gang...

Judging by the cuddly cohorts of new characters introduced into Woody and Buzz's world, Pixar isn't resting on its very substantial laurels with Toy Story 3. One newbie we're particularly looking forward to seeing - along with Timothy Dalton's lederhosen-clad Mr. Pricklepants - is the none-more-metrosexual Ken, voiced with camp relish by Michael Keaton. Thanks to Disney, then, for this new clip in which the neckerchief'ed Ken gives Woody, Jessie, Slinky et al a tour of Sunnyside Day Center, their new home when Andy heads off to college. It's love at first glance when the lovelorn Ken lays eyes on Barbie, with Gary Wright's Dream Weaver setting a suitably crooney tone. Look out too for a first glimpse of Stretch in action, taking us back to blissful childhood hours watching rubbery octopuses climbing down walls. Ah, joy...Toy Story 3 is out in the UK on July 23. ...
