Oscar Katz was a television producer who was the Executive Vice-President in charge of Production at Desilu Studios between 1964 and 1966. He and his assistant Herb Solow oversaw the development and production of new programs for Desilu. He helped to bring Gene Roddenberry's "Star Trek" and Bruce Gellar's "Mission: Impossible" to life.
