- Height6′ 1″ (1.85 m)
- Started in Los Angeles as Private Security to celebrities.
- Earned a "Chess Expert" international title at age 12.
- Practiced Jiu Jitsu for 16 years.
- Instant entrepreneurs. There is no educational barrier to entry, and no experience required to be an instant entrepreneur. All one needs is an iPhone for content production, a borrowed late-model sports car, and a rags-to-riches, sleeping-in-my-car story that will never get vetted anyway.
- My appointment to Los Angeles small business commissioner was a surprise and an enormous honor. I moved to Los Angeles in 1998 and feel that it is the greatest city in the world. It is still a city of dreamers, the city where nothing is set in stone, and where there is no such thing as a 'wild dream', only aspirations.
- We're excited to accumulate and coalesce what we believe are truly best-in-class concepts, and we believe that our involvement with these brands is not only going to continue to help them grow but help them realize a whole new possibility of global expansion.
- I don't feel embarrassed to talk about mental health. I am grateful for being involved with incredible organizations such as AdoptTogether, Mental Health America Los Angeles, Project Paperbag and Stout's Sip and Chew, to name a few. Being surrounded by supportive people is where I find comfort and peace, and the unconditional love of pets is always a beacon of light when all else may seem lost.
- I do recall the first time I had whisky, I was 5 or 6, and my Grandfather told my Mom 'Let him have a wee bit of whisky'. It was Macallan which is funny because I subsequently now work with Macallan.
