Raised in San Diego, California, Ben began acting at the early age of
eight in a musical review show. An honors student and valedictorian of
his class, the acting bug didn't take hold until a production of
"Grease" during his senior year of high school, in which he dropped AP
Physics in order to perform.
Ben then moved east to the University of Virginia where he pursued many
paths of possible occupations, but acting kept calling. After many
productions at UVA, he decided it best to transfer to a more prominent
acting program. At Northwestern University, he studied in the same
acting class as Zach Braff and Stephanie March under the guidance and
wisdom of David Downs. Upon graduation, Ben headed to New York to start
his professional career. After a six-month backpacking trip to Europe
and the Middle East, Ben returned to the States and returned to his
birthplace, Los Angeles.
While continuing to work on current hit TV shows and films, Ben's most
memorable role is probably the World's Fastest Man in the
movietickets.com ad "Super Hero."
