Debi Wollitzer was born in Berwyn, Illinois. She was an
only child. Her parents were divorced when she was 2. At an early age
Debi showed a knack for entertaining and wowing audiences with ballet
dancing and comedy. During her pre-teen years Debi's mother enrolled
her in Wendy Ward Modeling classes and walked the runways for
Montgomery Ward modeling their Junior Collections. In high school she
worked in the Stage Crew and became an Assistant Stage Manager. In 1983
she did runway shows modeling hair for Matrix Hair Products. Only later
in life she decide to take acting lessons. She quickly landed the lead
in a radio program (Allison)for the blind. This came about through
Talking Headshots at Sarantos Studios.
She then appeared in the local cable show Acting for Actors playing (Cynthia) a woman that confesses to her sister about a seductive video of herself she allowed a stranger to tape.
Debi has acted in Murder Mystery Dinner plays and has attended some stage classes at The Piven Theatre Workshop and The Players Workshop at the Chicago Center for Performing Arts.
