- Al Casey was born on September 15, 1915 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. He is known for Green Book (2018), The Kovak Box (2006) and Stranger Things (2016). He died on September 11, 2005 in New York, USA.
- Rhythm guitarist who worked primarily with Fats Waller until 1943. After Waller's death, he formed his own trio (having switched from acoustic to electric guitar) at residencies in Chicago, Los Angeles and Greenwich Village, New York. Winner of the Esquire Magazine Gold Award in jazz in 1944. In later years, Casey became a member of the Harlem Blues & Jazz Band.
