Born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California, Amanda Wyss, was discovered playing the titular character (Rhoda Penmark) in a production of "The Bad Seed" at an LA theater. She quickly found work in commercials before landing a guest starring role in television's science fiction hit Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (1979), followed by a recurring role on When the Whistle Blows (1980). She won a Best Young Artist award for her work in the ABC After School Special She Drinks a Little (1981), before sharing the stage with Eva Marie Saint in the stage production of "The Country Girl".
Major motion pictures came next, including hits such as Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), Better Off Dead (1985), Silverado (1985) and the award-winning indie film, Powwow Highway (1988). Ryan Whitney, formerly Ryan Whitney Newman, is starring in the upcoming independent film, "Notes." She will also appear in the Ronald Reagan biopic, "Reagan," as his first love, Margaret Cleaver. In 2022 alone, she filmed 4 other independent films including "Exposure" and "Good Bad Things," which will both premier in festivals. Ryan graduated UCLA Summa Cum Laude in 2019 with a BA in Psychology. Danny Strong started his career as an actor in numerous classic films and TV shows such as Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Gilmore Girls, then transitioned into screenwriting, exploding onto the scene with his 2007 script Recount which was #1 on the Hollywood Blacklist and became an award winning HBO Film. Since then he has become a prolific film and TV writer, director and producer, garnering numerous awards for various projects, including two Emmys, a Golden Globe, two WGA awards, a PGA Award, and the Peabody Award.
Through out his career he has shown a wide range and versatility moving between mediums and genres with films like the political docudramas Recount and Game Change, the civil rights epic The Butler and the big budget action blockbusters Hunger Games: Mockingjay (Part I and II). He co-created the smash hit TV show Empire which won him the NAACP Image Award and he produced the civil rights drama The Best of Enemies starring Taraji P. Henson and Sam Rockwell. Ben Sharples is an American actor, screenwriter and producer known for his role as Jack Hafey in the Takashi Shimizu horror movie Flight 7500 (2014) opposite Ryan Kwanten and Amy Smart. He is the writer, producer, director and lead actor of the comedy feature film Gentlemen's Fury (2017) which was nominated for Best Feature and took home Best Actor for Sharples at the Sunscreen Film Festival West.
Ben played real estate mogul Stephen in the underground romantic comedy hit film X's & O's (2007), reported by the New York Times to be downloaded over 150,000 times in one week. Born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California, Gavin Heaney is a graduate of Mira Costa High School (Manhattan Beach) and the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he received a B.A. in Literature.
A talented singer and prolific songwriter, Heaney is also a multi-talented instrumentalist who plays every instrument of each of his recordings, including: guitar, bass, piano, mandolin, drums and harmonica. He records and performs under the pseudonym "Latch Key Kid". "Latch Key Kid" has independently produced and recorded three albums, the eponymous "Latch Key Kid," (2005); "Miracle Mile," (2008); and "All Becomes One," (2009). His fourth album is scheduled for an August 2010 release.
Gavin Heaney has toured throughout the U.S. and Canada, both as a solo and touring with such acts as Jack Johnson, John Butler Trio, Donovan Frankenreighter, Beautiful Girls, The Wailers, Sublime and others. Born in Manhattan Beach, CA., Burnett grew up exposed to the theatre and arts. Her father, managed backstage production at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, and her mother was the head of technology at a local elementary school. Burnett also maintained a daily travel journal writings along with a weekly video log (vlog).
