The laboratory equipment that was used in the film was provided by Ken Strickfaden, who originally used the same equipment in both Frankenstein (1931) and Bride of Frankenstein (1935), as well as much later in Young Frankenstein (1974). This is one of the few times that the equipment was filmed in color.
Released as the bottom half of a double feature with Billy the Kid Versus Dracula (1966), which was also directed by William Beaudine.
