Buddy Manucci : Now look. We can do this the easy way, or the hard way.
Toredano the Garage Man : I told you, man, I only work at the garage. I don't know nothin'.
Toredano the Garage Man : [holds his hands up] Look. Look at my hands. I've been here before. You do what you gotta' do. I didn't talk then... and I ain't talkin' now.

Buddy Manucci : You don't have to worry about me. I'm not gonna bag ya. But I think you better think about this: you better worry about Kalish's pals, Festa's pals, because word has a way of getting around.
Vito Lucia the Undertaker : What are you talking about? You're gonna let them know? You can't do this to me, Buddy.
Buddy Manucci : No?
[jabs his finger hard into Vito's chest]
Buddy Manucci : You watch me!

Insp. Gilson : There's something heavy that the boys downtown never told us about. Have you heard rumors of Mob kidnappings?
Buddy Manucci : [surprised] No. I heard about... that heavy artillery on the street, that's all.
Lt. Jerry Hanes : Why the hell didn't you tell us? A squad from the Chief Detective's office is investigating stories about undercover police, alleged police, going around kidnapping wiseguys for ransom.
Buddy Manucci : [eyes widening] And they think it's us?
Insp. Gilson : Buddy, what would you think? What was Ansel doing with Cotello? A lot of people never wanted our outfit formed, you know that. They don't like the way we operate.
Buddy Manucci : What do YOU think?
Insp. Gilson : I think we've got a whole bunch of unanswered questions here.
Buddy Manucci : Yeah, well just give us a little time and we'll get the answers.

Buddy Manucci : [looking at the river] You believe we used to swim in that shit?
Vito Lucia the Undertaker : Ehhh, nobody cares anymore.
-
Buddy Manucci : [gazing out the window at the racketeers the funeral parlor] A funeral really brings them out.
Barilli - Seven-Up : Respect for the dead is considered very important. You know that.
Buddy Manucci : [bitterly] Should show as much for the living.
