Deep, simple and amazing.

This film is a very simple story, but very complex in it's many layers and subtleties. The coming of age of a little boy and how he becomes part of "the system".

Great acting, especially with the little boy and even the dog faces are amazing! The black and white and grain feel of 16mm is very appropriate for the coldness and bareness of the story. The pace could have been a little faster at one point, but on the other hand it helps the audience submerge into the world of the boy in the farm where time goes by very slowly. The music is a bit too much for the story, I would have liked fewer instruments, but it served it well. Heartbreaking with very efficient storytelling. Very few beautiful shots that remind me of old European cinema. Good cinematography and a great film that captures the reality of farm-life in Argentina.

Great film!

Breaking all the rules, with a child and a dog in most of the frames, this beautiful shortfilm touched my emotions, and in a few minutes took me into a different world. Great actors (including the dog), great cinematography and a great direction. A simple story that reaches your feelings, thats what all shortfilms should do.

Great Cinematography, and no more.

When you see this short movie, you can tell there is a lot of money behind it: a lot of money and no soul. Great cinematography, you can tell there is a great director of cinematography working for this movie, but the pace is so slow and the acting so "on the edge" (on the edge of making you laugh instead of cry, I mean) that it's annoying, even for a short movie.
