An exceptional 7th season episode.
I've never cared to much for Elizabeth, but she really started to shine in this episode.
And John, as the only parent in the house at this time, did a wonderful job of trying to understand and help the female children. It's a credit to the writers that they often focused on this new role for the father.
And of course, the Ashley Longworth story.....
This was an exceptional episode, filled with my laughter and tears. Even this late in the life of the series, they could pull out all of the stops.
