This is a micro budget movie first and foremost. As the one of the reviewer notes it could be a stage play as it is set predominately in one area.
There is a nuclear blast that destroys Los Angeles. People leave the city and eventually end up in shack in the middle of the desert. After a while a wind picks up and with it strange things start happening to the character. The characters bicker amongst themselves. After such a tumultuous event you could understand why everyone would mistrust everyone else. Then the first of the characters die. Is there some evil presence in the wind or is one of the people in the hut a killer? This movie is very bleak. A lot of the story is told through flashbacks. Unlike most British TV feel good end of the world dramas, this shows everyone is dirty after walking through the desert and trying to survive the windstorm (which is the after effect of a nuclear bomb).
It is slow but I enjoyed it and wanted to know what happened in the end. I saw it on Lovefilm.
